Episode 33: T h e R e t u r n

"I am warning you once and that's all. If you wander out of our sights, then I will track you down and kill you myself." V pointed at me as we stood in front of the veranda, aka the portal to club Lucifer in disguise.

"And who gave you the right to order me around?" I snapped back with defense.

"See! This is exactly why I'm opposed to her coming along!" V growled at Jimin. "She always ends up causing trouble."

"Brother, did you forget that Hanul is the one with the markings? She has to come along." Jimin calmly reminded him.

"Hear that? This means that you're actually the side character here. You don't even have a reason to come because I'm the main character in this issue!"

"You think I want to come?!" V yelled at me. "You can't go anywhere without the both of us protecting you with our barrier, you weakling!"

"Well, that just sounds like an excuse! I've been quite fine on my own before!"

"Both of you. Stop it. I feel like I'm babysitting children." Jimin intervened before it got any worse. "Hanul, you're going to strictly stay by my side tonight." V glared at Jimin questioningly. "Any issues with that?" Jimin glared back. A zap of tension shriveled up and then died there.

"Nope." I puffed out my chest and crossed my arms with a stubborn look. That idiot always had to act like I was some kind of a nuisance to them. Honestly, he was the only nuisance in my life!

"If you two old farts would quit fighting, I'd be happy to finally get this ship sailing," Jin grumbled, running out of patience.

"Where's Suga? I thought he was coming too?" I looked around.

"He's beaten us there and he probably finished his little reunion too. Meanwhile, you're all bickering like children!" Jin's agitation exponentially increased. "Come on! I'm busy, I've got things to do!"

"Let's go." Jimin held his hand out for me. I raised my brows and nervously approached him. The last time we were this close I knew Jimin had himself under control. But he was growing bolder each time now. I just didn't want him forcing himself and losing control again.

'Are you sure?' I mouth. He smiled and gave me a quick nod, taking my hand first. V glared at us but in the next second he jumped the gun and disappeared down from the ledge.

"Hold on tight." Jimin grabbed my waist and lifted me up with him on to the edge.

You bet I held on tight because in the next second I was stumbling from the fall until I caught balance in Lucifer. The portal was so quick you couldn't feel it during the actual traveling, but it did leave you disoriented and wondering how and where you'd end up landing.

"Where'd Jin and V go?" I glanced around the usual chaotic scene. Honestly, these demons were doing the most to prove that they're big bad sinful creatures.

"Careful." Jimin quickly pulled me aside as a drunk man stumbled by us.

"Ay! Watch it you fools!" He made the mistake of turning his ogre face at us. "M-Master Jimin! Oh, I am very sorry!" He quickly sobered up. Jimin looked away and seemed to be rather annoyed by having his presence uncovered.

"Let's go. I'd rather not spend too much time here. The air in here doesn't do me too well."

"Likewise." That's something we both agreed on. After all, the last time I been here with him--or more like Lust--wasn't what you'd exactly call good times.
