EPISODE 15: A r t

"Why the hell are you looking at me like that?" V was caught coming out of the kitchen with health-boosting supplements as Sera paused her game with the airplane.

He popped two yellow pills and swallowed them dry. "Go away." He squinted back at the girl, not wanting to lose the eye contact challenge she started.

"You're so rude." She stuck her tongue out. V's eyes widened and glowed yellow.

"Do you like your pretty little head on your shoulders or rather having it rolling across the waxed floors?"

She frowned and rolled her eyes before she turned and ran away with her airplane toy. V continued to glare at her with confusion and irritation.

"Jimin's out with the mortal now isn't he?" V scoffed and shook his head, getting even more irritated as he walked away muttering to himself for the millionth time, "Does he really think that she's Dalia or something? How pathetic, Brother."

Bouncy violins were playing in the back and lots of fancy looking people observed the portraits hanging in the art gallery section: Sins

This was Jimin's idea of a Friday night, observing art. Not just any art. Dark art.

Wow, what was I expecting when a demon asked me out on a date?

"Ooh..." I nodded my head and sarcastically pretended to enjoy an ancient Joseon woman holding her head in a rocking chair. Jimin stood next to me and deeply observed the painting with a horrified expression buried deep in his gaze. I sighed and pitifully asked, "Do you even like this place?" I couldn't help but notice his discomfort ever since we came here.

"Without this place, we'd all forget."

"Forget what?" He left my question hanging. "Fine, who owns this museum anyway?" I commented, glancing at the ancient sculptures and observing the holy mural on the ceiling.

"Umin."

I shuddered. The very name didn't go through my ears peacefully. "Who?"

"The person who is keeping us trapped in Savannah," Jimin explained. "Umin is an angel. He is with the Holy Trinity"

My mind whirred with thoughts. "Hold up, you're in a fight with angels?" All I grew up seeing were ghosts and evil spirits, it never actually occurred to me there were protectors around us? But from how I see it, Jimin probably didn't agree with the protecting side of the holy world.

"I never quite explained how you should help us have I?"

"Yeah, you didn't. I still don't know what my purpose is."

"That's because I never understood either. Until you began touching me with blood and making demons disappear."

"My blood..." That's right! Every time I used to touch him I'd feel a spark. He glanced to his side as a tall man approached us.

"I'll tell you later." Jimin walked towards the next painting.

Suddenly, I began to look at them with more interest. I finally saw how each one was telling a story.

The next one showed a simple picture of an apple--bitten and left on a white bed. Then there was one that showed a paint brush and jar full of red paint---or was it blood? After came a portrait of a burnt figure on fire; a painting of a joker that looked a bit demonic; and then, a painting of two hungry children staring right at me as they lay on the floor--but I couldn't decide if they were dead or alive.
