Episode 52: O m e n

"Oh, my..no...my Lord V....please, they can't see us...oh, not there!"

Shin moaned and gasped before abruptly sitting up on V's bed. Both of us stared at him with concern.

"What the hell were you dreaming about?" I questioned. Shin's pale face turned into a dark shade of purple.

"N-Nothing! You...you...how could you!" He yelled at me then turned to V. "My lord, was it her lips that defiled yours?! You must've been so enraged! To have those dirty lips...oh no!" Shin covered his face with defeat.

"Shin, do you mind getting off my bed now that you're awake. I don't like people sleeping on it for too long." V calmly asked him.

Shin gasped and practically leaped off the mattress, falling into a bowing position. "Kill me, my lord. Kill me. I deserve the ultimate penalty of death. I no longer deserve the luxury to be in your presence. I am a horrible servant. Please, dispose of me with your bare, rough, and large hands!"

"Shin, you should stop before I really kill end up killing you one day."

Shin's head snapped up with a small gasp and he quickly stood up on his feet. "My apologies my lord."

Leyla pulled over her dark hood, quickly speeding out of the club and swiftly out of the doors. She continued her journey down the vacant high way before a pair of red heels walked across her, blocking the path.

Leyla pulled her head up, staring at the familiar face with her one eye.

"Well, well. If it isn't the demon's whore."

"Well, well, if it isn't Satan's little bitch." Dalia's red glossy lips placed on a confident smile, staring down at her mentor. Leyla's scowl drastically changed her youthful expression into one that resembled an old hag.

"What are you doing here?"

"What now? I can't visit my mentor?" Dalia walked over, her arms crossed over her chest.

"Don't talk like you truly missed me, girl. I won't forget what you've done to me back then." Leyla placed a hand to the golden patch covering her left eye and glared at her.

"My, my. For a woman as old as you are, I wouldn't put it against you to still wander about the past! You have so much more to live for in the present!" Dalia giggled, doing a small twirl. "This world is truly amazing! I can't believe the things I've missed while I was stuck in limbo."

"And limbo is where you will belong!" Leyla suddenly shot her hand out and chanted a spell. Dalia froze and suddenly began to choke, stuttering and clawing at her throat.

Leyla's smile deepened before it dropped altogether.

"Gotcha." Dalia smiled, standing back straight, completely normal. "Now, Leyla, do you think after being my mentor for so long I wouldn't know all your tricks and spells? As if I wouldn't come prepared when meeting with you. You do underestimate yourself, and as well as myself. Have you thought I simply sat in limbo without utilizing every day to become stronger than you?" Dalia clacked her heels over until she was inches away from Leyla. "You know, if I really wanted to, I could rip your heart out right now."

Leyla's eye widened at the girl daring to incite a sensation of fear through her. "But see, I wouldn't do that. You're my teacher, after all. And no matter what, they do say that a teacher never fails to have an answer to a student's question, right?"
