Kaylee's POV:

My dad went on a 2 day business trip, Mum was out shopping with Kelly for wedding preparations, and Jonathan was with his tailor for again, wedding preparations which left me home alone. There was a knock on my door about half an hour after everyone left. I opened it to reveal Natalie and Samantha.

"Um... hi?" I stared. I was pretty shocked Samantha was here.
"You gonna invite us in?" Samantha asked rubbing her hands from the cold.
"Uh sure." I stepped aside and they walked in.

"Is anyone home?" Natalie asked taking her coat off. I shook my head.

"My dad's on a business trip and everyone else is preparing for the wedding." I replied sitting on the couch.

"Ooh a wedding." Natalie smiled. Things did sort of clear up between us.

"Hey what's this?" Samantha said holding up a album-looking Book. Natalie blew the dust off. Samantha started coughing uncontrollably.

"Sorry! Sorry!" Natalie shrieked. I ran to the kitchen and got water for her. After that little panic was over, I took the book and opened it. It was definitely an album.

DING-DONG

I got up and walked to the door and opened it. Standing there, was the security guards who, in my opinion, were a bit too much protective.

"Delivery." He said pointing to the Christmas tree coming out of a loading truck.

"Uh.. Thanks." I said and he brought the tree in. Natalie and Samantha looked at me weirdly. I shrugged in confusion. He left everything to us.

"When did you order a Christmas tree?" Natalie asked.

"I didn't." I walked to the piles and piles of huge bags that had each different part of a tree in it. Samantha picked up the letter attached.

To: Jonathan Marsden
From: Carrie Conlox

Merry Christmas Johnny!
Love you xx

"Who's Carrie Conlox?" She asked.

"I don't know. I've never heard of her." I said, "You guys wanna build it?"

"Of course!" Natalie smiled.
"Duh." Samantha added.

"Ok. 'Step 1: Each bag is labeled from 1-95. First find a place to put your Christmas tree. Then, find bag 1 and remove the tree part inside. Please note that the tree is 7 1/2 feet tall and is 67 inches in width.'" Samantha read.

"That's a tall tree." Natalie said stepping carefully through the bags laid across the floor. She stopped and picked up a bag.
"1" She read, "This is heavy." She struggled with the bag. Samantha leaned forward and took it from her.

"Ok. Bag 1 we have. Now we need to find a place for it." I said.

"Got a measuring tape?" Samantha asked.

"I think." I walked to the basement. The door opened with a creek. I looked through boxes and boxes till I found it. I returned to the living room and handed Samantha the tool. We measured the floor.

"Ok, so the floor is what, 95 inches by 8 feet? Where do we put this thing?" Natalie asked.

"Well..." I looked at where the TV was placed.
"What about there?"

"Sure. We could do that but... how do you expect us to move the TV and the table AND the cables?" Natalie asked.

"Where else do we put it? If we put it there, the window would be blocked, if we put it over there you can't sit on the couch." I explained.
