Noah's POV:

We arrived in the city and stopped at a two floored house. My dad knocked on the door and a 10 year old girl opened the door. She stared at me, mouth open, wide eyed.

"Are you Shayla's boyfriend?"She asked.

"No." I replied.

"Who's at the door?" A girl walked to the door.

"I think it's Jacob Sartorious!" The little girl said excitedly. Her older sister hit her little sister behind her head. She smiled at us slightly.

"It's not! Your obsession is un-natural. This is our step-brother. I think."
"Come in. I'll get her." We walked in. Shayla went upstairs and that left us with the 10 year old.

"I'm Jasmine by the way." She smiled happily, "What's yours?"

"I'm Noah." I smiled slightly. She nodded. Mum finally walked down the stairs. When she saw Dad, she was fine but when she saw me, she looked shocked.

"What is going on here?" She asked.

"These your kids?" Dad asked.

"Jasmine is 10. Shayla is 15." She grumbled. Shayla could see the tension brewing so she took Jasmine and headed up stairs.

"But I want to stay downstairs!" Jasmine whined.

"No." Shayla said strictly and they disappeared. Mum turned back to us.

"We need to have a word Paula." Dad said. She looked extremely bored.

"Remember me?" She stared at me.

"Noah?" She said. Wow. Didn't expect that.

"Yeah. The one you left." I snapped. She looked at me shocked.

"That's no time to talk with your mo—"

"You're not my mother. You never were."

"Just cause I left doesn't mean—"

"You killed Audrey." I said. She stared at me. Shocked. I could see Shayla peeking behind the wall and watching.

"Why would I—"

"December 24, 2012. Did you remember or keep that day open to grieve for your daughter?" He said,

"You forgot." Why hadn't I suspected this would happen?

"Noah—" she began.

"You killed her. Why would you do that?" I said.

"I didn't kill her."

"Yes you did don't lie. I saw it happen. I saw the license plate on the car. It was one of your workers car!" She rolled her eyes. I turned to look at Shayla. She looked shocked and scared and confused all at the same time. Just like Kaylee used to be before she went on stage....

"What other proof do you have?"

"Remember Frank Thiller?" Dad said, "He said you put him up to this."

"He lies." She defended.

"They had him on a lie-detector test. All signs showed truth" dad replied, "why hadn't i thought of this before"

"Leave. I have decorations to put up and my husband is coming soon from work." I was already out the door. Dad decided to join me. What a great Christmas we're having.

Shayla's POV:

Audrey? Murder? Car? Lie Detector? I went to my room and turned my laptop on. Mum's surname was 'Potts' before she married Dad. I searched 'Audrey Potts' and a lot of things came up and I clicked the first website.
