Antagonist
A noun. Antagonist means a person who actively opposes or is hostile to someone or something.
Sa tagalog, kontrabida. Ang taong laging kumakalaban sa bida.
Sa lahat ng istorya, magkakaroon ba ng thrill kung walang kontrabida? Sa sariling kwento ng buhay mo, gusto mo bang magkaroon ng kokontra sa'yo?
Bakit nga ba sa lahat ng story, laging bina-bash yung mga kontrabida? Well, yung role naman talaga nila ay sirain - or kontrahin ang buhay ng mga bida. So why do people bash them where in fact, they should be glad dahil merong kontrabida.
Do I sound like I am defending the antagonists? Actually, I am more like defending the antagonist of my own story.
