Hayden's pov
I was in the middle of doing crunches when Taylor busted into my room. I immediately jumped to my feet.
"You just gave me a heart attack!" I yelled and caught my breath.
"Sorry! Sorry!" she laughed and hit her lip.
"What's up?" I asked.
"Oh, nothing much... Only that I just got two tickets to see Why Don't We this weekend!" she squealed.
"Who's that?" I asked.
"Hayden! You know who they are!" she folded her arms.
"Oh! Are they the guys you talk about every four seconds?" I questioned.
"Yes!" she laughed.
"Oh, okay," I shrugged. "Can I finish working out?"
"Nope," she said. "We're going shopping for concert outfits."
"But I smell," I folded my arms.
"Take a shower," she told me before leaving the room.
I laughed and shook my head. I hopped in and out of the shower in about 10 minutes. I threw on a light pink shirt with black ripped jeans. I brushed out my long, straight, auburn hair. Then it was time for my makeup: foundation, concealer, powder, mascara, and eyeliner. There was a knock on the bathroom door.
"Hayden, are you almost done?" I heard Taylor's voice.
"Yeah," I said. "Give me one more minute."
I quickly put on some chapstick and then checked out my makeup to be sure it looked decent. After that, I walked outside and slipped on my black, converse high tops. I went into the living room, and Taylor had changed into an army green shirt with black jeans and her black vans.
"Ready?" she asked.
"Yup," I nodded.
She slipped on her Ray-Bands and grabbed the keys. Once we got to the mall, we immediately started shopping. By lunch time, we hadn't found anything. We are at the food court before continuing our search for concert outfits. Finally, I picked out a white Thrasher shirt and light washed ripped jeans. Taylor found a gray shirt with maroon trim on the sleeves and collar and light washed shorts. We bought everything and the went back to our house.
"I think that was a success," she smiled.
It was good to see her happy again. Taylor suffered from depression. It would get so bad where she wouldn't come out of her room, not even to eat. She wouldn't let anyone in her room, and she ignored her phone for weeks. That's why I was happy she moved in with me. Ever since then, her depression has gotten better. She doesn't have these episodes as often.
"Do you want me to order pizza for dinner?" I asked.
"Yes!" she squealed.
I laughed and ordered two large pizzas, knowing one wasn't enough for the both of us. I could eat a whole pizza by myself, and so could Taylor.
"They'll be here in twenty minutes," I told her.
"Great, so I have time to take a shower," she said before rushing to her room.
I changed into some black sweatpants and a maroon t-shirt. I sat on the couch and texted my friend Ashton. Soon, the doorbell rang. I answered the door, and it was the pizza guy.
"Two large pepperoni pizzas?" he asked, reading off the paper.
"Yes," I smiled and handed him the money.
"Thank you," he looked up at me, taking the money before handing me the pizza.
Whoa, hold up. Plot twist, the pizza guy was super cute. He had beautiful blue eyes and a perfect smile. Great, I look like trash when I meet a hot guy. We kinda stared at each other for a few seconds.
"Right, um," I closed my eyes tight before opening them again. "Thanks. Have a good night."
"You too," he said before walking back to his car.
I went to the kitchen and set the pizzas on the counter as Taylor walked in as well. She immediately grabbed a box for herself and a soda. I did the same, and we went to the living room. We ate and talked about the concert, which was actually in two days.
"How old are these guys anyway?" I asked, taking a sip of my soda.
"Well, Jonah is nineteen, Corbyn is nineteen, Jack is eighteen, Daniel is eighteen, and Zach is sixteen," she said.
"So, you're telling me I have a chance with four of them?" I raised an eyebrow.
"No, Corbyn has a girlfriend," she laughed.
"Can I see pictures of them?" I questioned.
"Yeah," she grabbed her phone and pulled up a picture. "This is Corbyn, Jonah, Zach, Daniel, and Jack."
She pointed to each one as she said their names. Not gonna lie, they were all hot. Even Zach, who was only sixteen! I snatched her phone and zoomed in on each of them.
"How can five human beings be so attractive?" I whispered.
"I don't know, but you get to see them in person at the concert," she said.
"That's a blessing," I blurted.
Taylor busted out laughing. We finished eating and watched Pretty Little Liars on Netflix. I was starting to get behind on the show because I was always working out or Taylor and I would go out and do stuff. We ended up falling asleep on the couch.
