Hayden's pov
Zach and Daniel got out after us.
"Why'd you get out?" Zach asked.
"We wanted to tan for a few minutes," I explained, picking up my clothes and moving them to a different chair.
"You are already tan," Daniel pointed out.
"Oh my gosh," Taylor laughed. "I am not tan."
"Yes, you are! Look at you!" Daniel said, taking Taylor's hand and spinning her around.
I was screaming inside. That was so cute! Taylor was very insecure about her body when she was around other people. She looked over at me and gave me a small smile before placing her hand over her stomach to cover it up. In my opinion, Taylor was beautiful, and I didn't see anything wrong with her body. I wasn't just saying that because she was my best friend.
"Okay, okay," Daniel smiled. "We'll let you tan."
They got back in the water with the guys for another hour or so. Finally, they all got out to chill for a little bit. Corbyn checked his phone.
"Yo, Eben wants to join us. We gotta go pick him up," Corbyn announces and went to go tell the driver.
My heart skipped a beat. Eben was so hot. I think Taylor knew what I was thinking because she elbowed me. I turned and stared into her eyes, giving her the oh-my-god-is-this-real look. I could tell she was holding in a laugh.
"You good, Hayden?" Jack gave me a confused look.
I shook my head and laughed.
"Yeah, sorry. I was just thinking," I explained.
Corbyn came back, and everyone started talking again.
"What are your plans career wise?" Jonah asked us.
"I'm a dancer, so maybe that will get me somewhere in life. I go to the studio almost everyday. It's been a struggle trying to find a job, though," Taylor answered.
"What about you?" Jack looked at me.
"I'm into art and photography. I make some money off of it, but it's a very hard path to go down with trying to get income. On the side, I work at the humane society," I told them.
"You two are so intriguing," Daniel sounded like he was genuinely interested in what we had to say.
"Yeah, really. Most people usually go to college after high school and try to get degrees," Zach said.
"Well, we aren't like most people," I shrugged.
The boat stopped, and a few seconds later, Eben walked onto the deck. My heart started pounding, and I felt my face heat up.
"Yoooo!" he smiled and did a handshake with all the guys.
He turned and saw Taylor and I. He looked at the guys.
"That's Hayden, and that's Taylor. We met them at the ice cream shop on the boardwalk," Jonah explained.
"You two look familiar," Eben studied Taylor and I.
"We were at the concert last night," I told him.
"So you're a fan?" he smirked.
Oh god. His smirk. I thought I was going to pass out. How can someone be so attractive?
"Of course," I smiled.
We ended up spending the rest of the day with them, and it was so much fun. I actually enjoyed hanging out with them.
~time skip~
We were all back on the boardwalk by 7. The sun had already set, and the boardwalk was lit up by the shop lights and lamp posts. Taylor, the guys, and I were standing by the dock where the boat was."We had a great time today," I told them.
"Us, too. We need to hang out again," Jonah looked into my green eyes and smiled.
"Too bad you aren't staying here," Taylor sighed.
"We are definitely going to come back," Eben spoke up.
"Yeah. You guys are cool. We've never met anyone quite like y'all," Daniel smiled at Taylor.
"I have an idea. Why don't we get your Twitter?" Jack asked as he pulled out his phone.
The other guys got their phones out as well.
"Mine is @haydenwills," I told them.
"Mine is @tayjax," Taylor said.
"Okay, we followed you guys," Zach smiled.
My phone started going off with the notifications, and so did Taylor's.
"I think we better head home," I turned to Taylor. "It's getting late, and I have work tomorrow."
"Yeah, I have to hit the studio early tomorrow," Taylor told them.
"It was nice meeting you," Daniel hugged me first.
"Yeah, I enjoyed it," I smiled.
Then I went to Zach. Then Jack. Then Eben picked me up and spun me around. I giggled as he set me down.
"I'll see you later, beautiful," he whispered in my ear.
Then I went to Corbyn. Last but not least, I went to Jonah. I held onto him longer than I should have, but I loved the feeling of his arms around me. We pulled away, and I saw Daniel bring Taylor in for one last hug. She seemed so happy.
"Come on, Taylor," I said.
"I think I'll take her with me," Daniel looked at me before picking Taylor up.
She wrapped her legs around his torso and her arms around his neck. They were so cute! I was already shipping them. Daniel started walking off with her.
"Daniel! That's my best friend! You can't take her awayyy!" I whined.
"Well, if he's taking her, then I can take you," Eben said before picking me up just how Daniel had done with Taylor.
Eben was so tall. I felt like a midget when I was next to him. Ugh he's so hot. And he was carrying me?! Can life get any better?
"Eben! Daniel!" Zach called after them, laughing. "Bring my new best friends back!"
Daniel was still walking down the boardwalk with Taylor. Eben had turned around and started walking back. We got back to the guys, and he set me down.
Taylor's pov
"I wish I could actually take you with me," Daniel whispered in my ear as he was still walking.
"You're just gonna take me and leave my best friend?" I asked him.
"We can take her, too," he said.
I moved back some, so I could see his face. He stopped walking.
"Look at how far you walked," I laughed.
He looked back to where the guys were and then back at me.
"Oops," he laughed and started walking back towards the guys and Hayden.
