Hayden's pov

"Have you met the other dancers?" Jack continued the conversation.

"No, not yet. Taylor says they're cool, though," I replied. "I'm so proud of her. She's coming out of her shell some."

"I mean, she's on tour with Justin Bieber. I don't see any reason for her to be so shy," he said.

"Taylor's been through a lot," that's all I could think of to say without going into the whole story.

Jack and I were both quiet for a few seconds. I looked around to see what store Daniel had gone in, but I had no clue.

"Are you jealous that she's spending quality time with the Justin Bieber?" Jack joked.

I returned my focus back to him.

"I mean, he's Justin Bieber. I wouldn't say 'jealous' though," I laughed.

"You're going to spending plenty of time with him once you join them on tour," he said.

"I'm just glad I get to see Taylor again," I smiled.

"I know Daniel will be glad to see her. All he's done is talk about her," Jack looked down at the his hands and picked at his nails.

We heard an ear piercing scream. Jack and I turned our attention to two teenage girls looking in our direction.

"Looks like you have some fans," I laughed.

The girls ran up to us as Jack stood up to hug them.

"Oh my gosh! I love you so much," the short girl with long caramel hair told him.

"I love you, too," he laughed.

"Can we get a picture," the slightly taller girl asked.

"Of course," Jack nodded.

"Here, I can take it for you," I insisted as I stood up.

"Thank you," the short girl smiled as she handed me her phone.

I took a few pictures for the two girls and handed her phone back to her.

"Is she your girlfriend?" the taller girl asked Jack.

He glanced at me and smiled before looking back at the two girls.

"No, she's one of my best friends," he replied.

"Oh okay," the girls nodded. "It was nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you, too," he smiled and waved as they walked away.

"Does it get annoying?" I asked him.

"What? Meeting fans?" he questioned.

I nodded.

"Not at all. I love meeting them. They're the reason why the band is successful," he answered. "You and Taylor are a part of that."

"Oh, right. We were fans before we became friends with y'all," I remembered. "Ever since then, it's like you've been a part of our lives forever."

"Yeah. I feel like I've known you my whole life," he agreed.

"Hey, guys," Daniel walked up to us.

"Did you find what you were looking for?" I asked him.

"Yeah, but I decided not to get it," he replied.

"Do you think the guys are ready to go?" I looked from him to Jack.

"Maybe," Jack shrugged.

"I'll text them," I pulled out my phone.

We had made a group chat with just me and the guys. Then we had one with me, Taylor, the guys, and Eben.

*groupchat*
Me: Are you guys ready to go?
Corbyn: I guess so.
Zach: Ready when you are.
Jonah: Yeah.
Me: Meet us at the front.
Corbyn: Sounds good.

"They're gonna meet us at the front," I announced as I put my phone away.

Daniel, Jack, and I got to the front, and everyone was waiting on us. Everyone had bags except for Jonah, Jack, Daniel, and I. We called an uber, and they took us back to the hotel. By then, it was around dinner time. We went up to our rooms and put our bags away before heading back down to the lobby. We all decided to walk down the road and find a McDonalds or something. Eventually, we found Subway and decided to eat there. We all sat at a table as we ate our sandwiches.

"Only a few more hours," I smiled at Daniel. "How're you feeling?"

"I've calmed down a lot, but I'm still a little nervous," he shrugged.

"I know you're happy, Hayden," Christina looked at me.

"Oh yeah. Definitely," I nodded. "But I think everyone is excited to see her."

"Of course! She's been gone for too long," Zach added.

"Justin needs to text me and let me know when they're on their way," I sighed and looked at my phone for the eleventh time.

"He will text you, don't worry," Jonah turned to look at me and smiled.

I couldn't help but smile. Jack cleared his throat, and I quickly turned back forward and looked down. Ever since Jack and I had that little moment at my house, I haven't thought about him. I thought I liked him, but it doesn't seem like that anymore. He was a really good friend, and I wouldn't want to ruin that.

"I think we should head back to the hotel," I announced and looked back up at everyone.

Jonah gave me a concerned look, so I gave him a quick smile before I stood up. Everyone else got up as well, and we walked back to the hotel. We decided to stay in the lobby and hang out until Taylor and Justin arrived.

"Say hi to Snapchat, Hayden," Jonah was sitting next to me at a table, and I saw half of his face in the screen of his phone and then I saw myself.

I smiled and laid my head on his shoulder.

"Hi, people on Snapchat," I smiled.

He laughed and posted the video. I kept my head on his shoulder and scrolled through my Twitter. That's when I got a text from Justin.

*
Justin: Just landed. We are picking up food and then will be on our way.
Me: Okay. How's Taylor doing?
Justin: Could be better. She slept the whole flight and then woke up really upset.
Me: I'm really glad I get to see her soon.
Justin: We'll be there in 30 minutes at most.
