Hayden's pov

I walked into Madison's office, and she smiled at me.

"I didn't know you were coming in today," she said.

"I wasn't supposed to, but I needed to let you know that instead of going to Germany, I will be attending Justin Bieber's tour with Taylor," I blurted.

"Oh?" she gave me a confused look.

"You know how Taylor suffers from depression, and she needs me with her right now," I explained.

"I understand," she nodded.

"Thank you," I smiled. "Do you mind if I go see Ajax?"

"Of course not. Go right ahead," she smiled back.

I went back to Ajax's kennel. He had gotten so big since the last time I had seen him.

"Hey, buddy. It's been a while," I opened the door and went into his kennel.

I sat down on the floor, and he jumped on me.

"Wow, you're getting heavy," I laughed.

I played with him for a while before I knew I had to go back home. The guys would be worried if I didn't come back soon. I got out of his kennel and stood there for a few seconds looking at him.

"I'll take you home one day," I smiled.

I walked back to the lobby, and JC was still there. He frowned.

"Why don't you have Ajax?" he asked.

"Can't take him home yet, J," I sighed.

"Soon," he told me.

"Soon," I nodded before walking out to my car.

I drove back home, and Taylor's jeep wasn't in the driveway. I walked inside, and Jack and Daniel were the only ones inside. I gave them a confused look.

"Where's everyone else?" I asked.

"They said you had no snacks, so they went to find a Walmart," Daniel explained.

"They could've just asked me to pick some up on the way back," I laughed.

"I told them, but they're dumb," Jack shrugged.

"Crap. I think I left my wallet on the porch," Daniel announced.

"When were you on the porch?" I questioned.

"We were all outside kicking the soccer ball," Daniel answered.

"Oh," I nodded understandingly.

He got up and walked outside, shutting the door behind him.

"I'm gonna go plug my phone up," I told Jack before getting up and walking in my room.

I plugged my phone up to the charger and turned around to see Jack in the doorway.

"Listen, I wanted to talk while no one else was around," he started. "I'm really sorry about how I've been acting lately. I was jealous, and it was not okay for me to act like that."

"Jack, it's fine," I smiled.

He started walking towards me.

"No. It really wasn't okay. I feel so bad. I was just mad because I like you. You're such an amazing person, and I probably ruined any chance I had with you," he shook his head.

"Jack," I laughed.

"Sorry," he laughed a little.

"It's okay," I nodded.

"Now might not be a good time to ask, but I just want to know... Are you and Seth a thing?" he asked.

My mind went back to the times Seth and I had hung out. All the times we had kissed. He never asked me out. Not once. He didn't even hint at it. I haven't even talked to him recently.

"We were, but I don't know anymore. I haven't talked to him ever since that day at the mall," I answered.

"Oh," he said.

"Yeah," I sighed. "He's probably not worth it anyway. I bet he's seeing someone behind my back or something."

"Give the guy a chance," he shrugged.

"I did. He never even hinted that he was going to ask me to be his girlfriend. It's so confusing. It's like an on again off again thing except we aren't actually dating," I explained.

"I don't want to tell you that he's not worth it, but if he keeps this up... He might not be," he said.

"Then I guess I'll have to find a guy who's worth my time," I laughed slightly.

"You don't even know how bad I want to kiss you right now," he was staring at my lips.

"What's stopping you?" I took a step forward so we were even closer.

"The fact that you still kinda have a thing with Seth," he admitted.

I started to lean in and so did he. That's when we heard the front door open. We both backed away, and Jack walked into the living room.

"Found it," I heard Daniel's voice.

I walked into the living room a few seconds later. Then all the other guys piled inside as well with Walmart bags in their hands.

"What is all that?" I asked them.

"Snacks," Zach said proudly.

The guys sat all the bags on the table. I dug through them to see if there was anything good. Skittles. Sour patch kids. Swedish fish. Gummy bears. Chips. Poptarts. Chocolate. I found some Rolos and snatched them right away.

"I claim these," I opened the bag.

"You can't eat all of them. We bought it," Corbyn glared at me.

"That's not what you said at McDonalds," I raised my eyebrows.

"That's just wrong to use that against me," he shook his head.

"Really? I think it's hilarious," I laughed.

We all sat around the living room laughing and joking around. If only Taylor was here. It would be a lot more fun with her. I missed her so much. Literally everything reminded me of her not being here.

"Guys, I hate to bring this up now, but I need to tell y'all something," Eben spike up.

We all looked at him.

"I'm not going to be able to go to the show with you all. I really need to get back in the studio," he announced.

"It's okay. We understand," Corbyn nodded.

"We still love you, bro," Jonah added.

"Tell Taylor that I'm sorry I couldn't be there," he told me.

"Of course," I nodded.

Ugh! I just missed Taylor so much. I just had to get through these few days to see her, and I couldn't wait for it.
