Hayden's pov

We finished playing What Are the Odds, and we just decided to hang out for a little while longer.

"Are you excited for the show tomorrow?" I asked Justin.

"Of course!" he smiled. "I love my fans, and it makes me so happy that I can perform for them."

"Are you excited?" Daniel asked Taylor.

"I'm always excited to dance," she smiled at Daniel.

"I'm glad we finally get to watch you dance," Jack added.

"Yeah, we've never seen you dance before," Jonah nodded.

"She's amazing. I don't know how she all of that without being out of breath," I laughed.

"Speaking of dancing, where is Ty and everyone else?" Taylor asked Justin.

"They told me that they were going to get some rest for the show tomorrow, so they're probably already asleep," he answered.

"You should probably get some sleep, too. It's almost midnight," Daniel told Taylor.

"Okay," she said, smiling up at him once again.

"I think that's my cue to head out as well," Justin announced as he stood up.

Everyone said goodnight to Justin, and he left. Corbyn and Christina also left. Taylor and I were dragging behind because we were too tired to walk across the hall.

"Can I just go to sleep here?" I sighed and leaned my head on Jonah's shoulder.

"No. Get out," Zach said sassily.

"You're so mean," I told him.

"Thanks," he smiled.

"You both look really tired," Jack laughed.

"You might actually fall asleep if you don't go over to your room," Jonah told me.

"Maybe," I shrugged.

I looked over at Daniel and Taylor. Taylor was half asleep.

"Come on, Taylor," I said as I stood up.

She rubbed her eyes and yawned before looking up at Daniel. I gave Zach and Jack a hug and then saw Daniel peck Taylor's lips. Aw. They were so cute. Taylor stood up as I walked over to Daniel to give him a hug.

"Maybe you can ask tomorrow," I whispered in his ear.

"Yeah, I want it to be special," he whispered back.

Taylor had hugged Jonah and Zach, and she was going to hug Jack. I walked up to Jonah and wrapped my arms around his torso. I loved his hugs. He was just so tall and warm. It was like a bear hug.

"You ready?" Taylor asked me.

"I guess so," I said, still hugging Jonah.

Taylor walked ahead of me, and I refused to let go of Jonah.

"Can you just walk with me? You're warm," I mumbled into his chest.

"Sure," he laughed.

He wrapped an arm around me, and he walked me across the hall. Taylor had already gone inside and was sitting on her bed.

"Goodnight, Jonah," I said as I gave him another hug.

"Goodnight, Hayden," he said back before I went inside the room and shut the door behind me.

All of the lights were off besides the light from the tv that lit up some of the room. I quickly changed into gray sweatpants and a white hoodie. I went to the bathroom and took my makeup off before crawling in my own bed. Taylor was laying in her bed, on her phone.

"So, you and Jonah?" she asked.

"Me and Jonah are just friends," I told her as I rolled onto my side and closed my eyes.

"Are you sure? You act like you're dating," she told me.

"I don't like rushing into relationships, Taylor. It scares me," I opened my eyes and sat up.

"I know it does, but what if he has feelings for you?" she turned her phone off and came over to sit on my bed.

"Taylor," I sighed.

"I know you and Jack were a thing or whatever, is that still going on?" she asked.

"I don't want it to because I really like Jack, but not in that way. He's a great guy, but I don't want to ruin our friendship," I explained.

"What about Jonah?" she raised her eyebrows.

"He's really sweet, and he cares. He's not like other guys, but I don't know. We just met these guys not too long ago. I'm not sure if I even want to be in a relationship right now," I pushed a strand of hair behind my ear. "After my last boyfriend, it's been hard..."

"I'm not rushing you. I know you're still trying to get over what happened. It's okay," she nodded.

"I'm really glad you met Daniel. I know he's a great guy, and he will always be there for you. I know it's been hard for you. I'm glad you can finally move on," I smiled at her.

"Thanks, Hayden," she smiled back. "But now it's your turn to move on."

"I will. One day," I reassured her.

"Goodnight. I love you," she gave me a quick hug before moving back to her own bed.

"Goodnight. I love you, too," I said back.

Taylor fell asleep right away, but I watched tv for a few minutes and thought about what we had just talked about before I finally went to sleep.
