Hayden's pov
We played soccer for another hour or so until we got bored of it. That's when we decided to just walk down the beach. I was in the middle between Eben and Jonah. We had only been walking for about two minutes when I heard someone whistle. I looked over, and a group of guys were waving at me and motioning for me to walk over.
"Hayden, you don't have to," Eben grabbed my arm.
"I'll just go see what they want," I shrugged.
"We are right behind you," Eben told me.
I walked up to the group of four guys. One was really tall, and his hair was dark brown with light brown highlights. One had really pretty blue eyes with brown hair. One had green eyes with dirty blond hair. The last one had gray eyes with perfect brown hair.
"Hey. I'm Jude. So we were playing What Are The Odds, and I was told I had to call you over here to play a quick game," the one with gray eyes said. "Are you down?"
I looked back at the guys, and Eben shrugged. Jack looked pissed. I wasn't about to deal with him, so I shrugged it off.
"Sure. I'll play," I nodded.
"You know how to play, right?" Jude asked me.
"Yeah," I answered.
"Just letting you know. I did not chose this dare, so don't hate me for it," he smiled.
"Now I'm scared," I joked.
"What are the odds you kiss me?" he asked nervously.
I shrugged and nodded in agreement.
"One, two, three," he counted down.
"Three," we said at the same time.
His friends "oooo"ed and started jumping around, which was really funny. Jude and I laughed as he leaned in and kissed me. It was more than a peck. He dragged it out, so it wasn't as short as it probably should've been. We pulled away and started laughing.
"Hayden, come on," I heard Eben's voice.
"Thanks for playing," Jude told me.
"Yeah. No problem. See you around," I laughed before walking off with the guys.
"I can't believe you did that," Corbyn said.
"Yeah. I thought you'd be too scared," Zach added.
"Do you know me? I'm always up for those type of games," I told them.
"Oh that's right. Hayden the daredevil over here," Daniel joked.
"Yup! That's me," I smiled.
We walked down the beach a little farther before turning back to go to our spot. We picked up our things and started walking back to the boardwalk. Eben, Zach, Jonah, and I all piled in my car while the other guys went in Taylor's jeep. Eben drove us while I sat in the passenger seat to play music. Zach and Jonah sat in the back. I went to my music and started playing Queen by Shawn Mendes.
"This song goes out to those girls at the beach," I smirked and turned to music up.
"Who crowned you queen of you think you're too cool making beautiful look ugly the way you put yourself above me," the chorus played.
"Dang!" Eben laughed.
I started dancing and singing the lyrics. This song was fire. His vocals are amazing, and I will forever stan Shawn Mendes. The song ended and I turned the music down some.
"Zach, that was actually hilarious when that girl tried to kiss you and you told her you don't kiss hoes," I started laughing.
"I was just telling the truth," he shrugged trying to hide his smile.
"I didn't think you'd actually kiss that guy," Eben said blankly.
"I've said it so many times. I'm up for any dare any time," I told them.
"I dare you to serenade the person next to us at this red light," Jonah said as we came to a stop.
"Let me find a song," I quickly scrolled through my playlist.
I swiftly clicked on Somebody Told Me by Charlie Puth. I rolled down my window and started singing the lyrics very loud and dancing, but the lady driving didn't even look over. I was very disappointed because I was hoping that she would. The light turned green when she finally looked over. She gave me a confused look because driving ahead. The guys all busted out laughing as I rolled the window up.
"See. I told you," I laughed.
Then I played Where Were You in the Morning? by Shawn Mendes.
"You play a lot of Shawn Mendes," Jonah pointed out.
"I love him. Have you listened to his new self titled album?" I turned to look at him and Zach.
"No, but I have been wanting to listen to it," Jonah answered.
"You're listening to it right now," I smiled before turning back around.
We finally got back to my house around 6:00. Jack had called dibs on showering first, so he went into the bathroom between Taylor's room and my room.
"One of you can go in Taylor's bathroom," I told them. "Once I'm done, you can go in mine as well."
I went to my room and found a white tank top crop top and burgundy shorts. I hopped in the shower and took way too much time. I was in there for at least 45 minutes. I got out and blow dried my hair and flipped it around until it looked decent. My mascara was still on since it was waterproof, so I just left it. I looked at myself in the mirror and started thinking about Taylor. I closed my eyes and a few tears slipped out, but I quickly wiped them away. I grabbed my phone and walked into the living room. All of the guys were talking.
"Did you already take your showers?" I gave them a confused look.
"Yeah," they all said.
"Sorry I took too long," I frowned.
"It's okay," Corbyn laughed.
