Taylor's pov
These past few days have been worse than they were the first time I broke down. My anxiety has gotten worse, and I really just need my best friend with me. I stopped talking as much and started isolating myself, and that's when I knew my depression was slowly creeping back. It kept getting worse. I barely did anything at rehearsal, and Ty noticed. I went to grab a water, and he followed me.
"You okay, Taylor" he asked.
My eyes burned from the tears that were threatening to escape. I looked at him.
"No. I'm not," my voice cracked.
"Hey, it's okay," he said softly and grabbed my hand.
"It's really not," I shook my head and looked down.
"Do you want to talk about it?" he asked.
"I just want my best friend here," I closed my eyes as a tear rolled down my cheek. "The Germany show is all the way in August, and I don't know how much longer I can keep this up."
"Look at me," Ty said and lifted my chin. "We will figure this out."
I nodded, and he pulled me into a tight hug.
Hayden's pov
Jonah insisted on helping me pack while the guys decided to clean up the house before I had to leave in two days. The guys were also leaving the same day. We would arrive in Winnipeg the day before Justin and everyone else would be there, so we had a day to chill out and do whatever we wanted.
"You have to take warm clothes for the fall shows," Jonah told me.
"I might just fly back here and get warmer clothes then. I don't think my suitcase is going to hold all of this," I laughed.
I had already packed pajamas. Jonah was helping me pack outfits. I would show him an outfit, and if he said it looked good, then I'd throw it at him for him to fold and put in the suitcase.
"How many outfits do I even need?" I asked him.
"Well, that's a good question because it depends on how long you're going to be on your before coming back," he explained.
"I'll pack for like a week or two. Then I can rewear some stuff I guess, and mix up the outfits," I shrugged as I threw a white Trasher shirt and light washed ripped jeans at Jonah.
"I've seen you in this outfit before," he looked from the outfit to me.
"I wore it to your concert, but I think that's the only time I've worn it," I told him.
"See, I knew I had seen you wear it," he laughed and folded the clothes before putting it in the suitcase.
He remembered me wearing it? I didn't even think any of them had noticed me. The only thing that I remembered from the concert was Corbyn holding Taylor's hand for a brief second and then her freaking out. It's crazy how she was hard core fangirling over them, and now we are all best friends.
"Hayden?" Jonah asked.
I snapped back into reality and realized I had been staring at nothing the whole time. I quickly started rummaging through my closet again.
"What were you thinking about?" he asked me.
"Nothing," I smiled to myself.
"Are you sure about that?" he laughed.
"Yeah, I'm sure," I nodded.
I found a few more outfits, and Jonah folded them and shoved them into my suitcase. I plopped down on the bed next to Jonah.
"That's a real workout," I sighed in exhaustion.
"Hayden!" I heard Zach yell.
I groaned.
"What?!" I yelled back.
"We have a problem!" he yelled but also laughed at the same time.
"Oh god," I got up and walked into the living room.
Corbyn and Zach were laughing in the kitchen, but I couldn't even see Zach. Daniel was fixing the pillows on the couch. Eben was wiping off the coffee table in the living room. Jack was, surprisingly, dusting. I walked over to Corbyn and Zach. Zach was on the floor laughing with the Swiffer sweeper next to him on the ground as well.
"What are y'all laughing at?" I asked them.
I thought Corbyn was going to die of laughter because he could barely even stand up.
"Zach, why are you on the floor, and why are you laughing?" I was so confused.
"He was sweeping, and then he slipped because he was being stupid. He fell on the sweeper, it broke," Corbyn started laughing again.
Zach calmed down some, and stood up, still laughing a little. I picked up the sweeper and saw that the handle was broken.
"This is why we can't have nice things," I told him.
"I'll get back to work," he started laughing again.
I rolled my eyes and laughed before walking back to my room.
"Oh, good job, everyone. Thanks for helping me out," I told them before walking in my room and shutting the door.
Jonah was sitting on my bed on his phone. He looked up once I walked over and sat next to him.
"What did he want?" he asked.
"He broke the sweeper because he slipped and fell, so I had to fix it," I explained.
"Classic Zach," Jonah shook his head.
"So what do I need to pack next?" I asked.
"You already have pajamas and outfits. Maybe shoes next?" he shrugged.
"Okay," I nodded and opened my closet door again.
All of my shoes were in a line at the bottom of my closet.
"How many?" I laughed.
"Only maybe two or three pairs. Not a lot are going to fit in the suitcase," he said.
I chose my adidas superstars, my black Nikes, and my Rainbows. Jonah somehow managed to fit them in the suitcase. I knew I was going to wear my slides on the plane, so that's why I didn't pack them.
"Should I pack a swimsuit?" I asked him.
"Probably. You never know if you might need it," he shrugged. "I'll let you do this part yourself."
"But I need advice," I told him. "It's not like I'm going to change in the same room."
"I don't want to be disrespectful and stay," he argued as he got up to walk out.
"Jonah," I laughed. "Sit down and help me. I'm going to change in the bathroom."
"Nope," he smiled before leaving.
This man. Why is he always such a gentleman? None of the other guys would've done that. They would have wanted to stay, but Jonah was different.
