Hayden's pov

Daniel walked back into the living room and sat back down.

"What took you so long?" I asked him.

"She wanted me to help her find the remote for her tv," he replied.

"Well, I just wanted you all to be in here when I said goodnight," I laughed.

"Extra," Corbyn mumbled.

"What was that, Corbyn? I don't think you said it loud enough," I joked.

"Extra!" he yelled.

"Now that was extra," I pointed at him.

"It's not nice to point at people," Zach gasped.

I turned and pointed at Zach.

"Rude," he rolled his eyes jokingly.

"Okay, okay. I'm going to sleep," I laughed as I stood up and went to my room.

I shut the door behind me and sat on my bed. I pulled the covers over my legs as I turned on my tv. I was about to turn on Pretty Little Liars, but there was a knock on the door.

"It's Eben," I heard his voice.

"Come in," I told him.

He walked in and shut the door behind him. I looked up at him as he walked up to me and sat on my bed next to me.

"I thought you'd want this back," he handed me a diamond stud.

"Thanks," I laughed and put it back in my ear.

He smiled, and I realized how close we were. I watched as his eyes glanced at my lips. He leaned in and kissed me. I kissed him but then pulled away.

"The guys can't know about this," I told him.

He nodded before leaning in again. He stopped right before our lips touched. He was such a tease. I kissed him once more before he stood up and left. I turned on Pretty Little Liars. I didn't end up going to sleep, so I stayed up until exactly 4:30 in the morning. I couldn't sleep. There was no way. I got up and threw on a gray t-shirt that said Harvard across the front in red letters. I slipped on a pair of red Nike athletic shorts and then put on some black socks. I slipped on my black Nike slides to go with it. I went to the bathroom and only put on mascara and did my eyebrows. I threw my hair up into a cute messy bun. I was too tired to do anything else. I went took my slides off and sat on my bed. I finished watching that episode of Pretty Little Liars. I checked the time, which read 4:50. I opened my door, and all of the guys were still asleep. I slowly tip toed to the kitchen. I quietly grabbed a protein bar before walking back to my door.

"Hayden?" I heard Jonah's morning voice.

I turned around and saw Jonah sitting up, rubbing his eyes.

"Did I wake you up?" I asked.

"No. I didn't even hear you," he shook his head.

Zach rolled over on the floor.

"Do you want to come in here so we don't bother them?" I asked.

He nodded before slowly standing up and stepping over Zach. We went into my room, and I shut the door. I sat on my bed and patted the spot next to me. Jonah walked over and sat next to me as I ate my protein bar.

"How long have you been awake?" he asked me.

"All night," I sighed. "I couldn't go to sleep."

"I'm sorry," he said.

"No, it's okay. I was just thinking about Taylor and all. I want her to go be successful, but I don't want her to leave," I looked away. "We've been best friends for so long, and this is the first time she's going away for this long."

"Everything is going to be okay," he looked me in my eyes. "You two will find a way to get through this."

"Thanks, Jonah," I said softly. "It means a lot."

"Of course," he smiled.

He was such a great guy. I leaned my head on his shoulder as I thought about the next few hours. Taylor was leaving for a long time. I wasn't going to see her. What if her depression starts up again and I'm not there? No one else would know how to help her. I'm the only one who has seen her at her lowest times. My alarm clock started going off. I turned it off before standing up.

"We should probably wake everyone else up so Taylor won't be late," I told Jonah.

Jonah went to the living room while I went to Taylor's room. I knocked on the door before walking in. She was still sound asleep.

"Taylor. Wake up. You need to get ready to go to the airport," I shook her arm.

"Five more minutes," she groaned.

"No. You can sleep on the plane. Come on," I told her.

She rubbed her eyes and sat up.

"Get dressed," I said before walking out and shutting the door.

The guys were all awake by now. Jonah and I chilled while everyone else got ready and grabbed something simple for breakfast. Taylor came out of her room in a gray cropped t-shirt with black Nike joggers and white converse. Her hair was in two french braids, and she had on mascara and did her eyebrows. I helped her roll her suitcases out to my car. We loaded them up and piled in both of our cars. Then we were off to the airport.
