Hayden's pov

I woke up the next morning to my alarm going off. I sat up and grabbed my phone, turning the sound off to make it shut up. I plopped back down and buried my face in my pillow. I went back to sleep for what felt like only a few seconds. I opened my eyes again and grabbed my phone. It read 9:28. I got up and went to the living room. Taylor was sitting on the couch watching Netflix.

"You're awake?" I rubbed my eyes.

"What does it look like?" she laughed.

"Mkay," I yawned before going back to my room and face planting back onto my bed.

I laid there for a few minutes with my eyes closed, but not going to sleep. Finally, I slid off the bed and onto my butt. I laid out on the floor, and it was so cold. I rubbed my eyes again before opening them.

"Hayden, what are you doing?" I heard Taylor ask from the living room.

I sat up and just stood there. I was so out of it today. I walked to the bathroom and splashed water on my face to wake me up some. That didn't really work, but now I had water in my eyes. I quickly grabbed a towel and wiped my face. I went out to the living room and sat on the couch with Taylor.

"Better?" she laughed.

"Yeah," I said, still a little sleepy.

"What do you want to do today?" she asked.

"Can we just go to the park or something? I feel like riding my skateboard," I suggested.

"Okay. Let me go finish getting dressed, and then we came make something for lunch," she told me before going to her room.

A few seconds later, I got up and went to my room. I turned on my bluetooth speaker and started blaring my current favorite playlist. The first song that came on was There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back by Shawn Mendes. I went to the bathroom while throwing my hair up in a messy bun and then brushing my teeth. I put on makeup which consisted of foundation, concealer, powder, mascara, and eyeliner. I went back to my room and threw on a white halter top with ripped shorts. I slipped on my white converse. I went back to the bathroom and brushed out my hair. I took out my pearl earrings and put in decent sized hoop earrings for my first piercings and then diamond studs for my second piercings.

"Perfect," I smiled at myself in the mirror.

I turned my music off before going to the kitchen. Taylor was already starting to make bacon for BLTs.

"You could've waited for me so I could help," I pouted.

"No. It's fine," she smiled.

"I feel bad," I said as I grabbed paper plates and then some bread.

"Don't worry," she raised her eyebrows.

"Whatever you say," I sighed as I got out a cutting board and then a tomato.

I cut up the tomato and laid a piece on each slice of bread. I cleaned that up, and Taylor finished making the bacon. She set the bacon on the tomato. I got the lettuce and added that to both sandwiches. Soon, we finished and then ate them. They were surprisingly really good. We've never made BLTs this good before.

"We should do this more often," Taylor said with a mouthful.

"I agree," I laughed.

We finished eating and cleaned up the kitchen. I went back and grabbed my phone off of my bed and then met Taylor outside. I grabbed my skateboard, which was propped up against the wall right beside the door. I hopped in the passenger seat of her matte black Jeep wrangler.
