Hayden's pov

I woke up, and Ajax wasn't on my bed. I sat up and looked around. He wasn't in my room either. I figured that someone had let him out, so I just went to my bathroom to take a shower. After that, I changed into my red humane society shirt and slipped on some light washed jeans. I did my makeup: foundation, concealer, powder, mascara, and eyebrows. I didn't know what to do with my hair yet, so I just threw it up in a really cute messy bun. Then I walked out of my room and into the living room. Jonah was playing with Ajax. This guy. Oh my gosh. He looked up and saw me standing there. I just smiled.

"Morning," he smiled.

"So that's where Ajax went," I laughed.

"Yeah. He was scratching on your door, so I let him out. I didn't want him to wake you up. I also let him outside so he wouldn't have an accident," he explained.

"Thanks," I said as I walked into the kitchen.

"Do you need help making breakfast?" he asked.

"No. It's fine," I replied, but he was already walking into the kitchen.

I looked in the pantry to see what kind of food I could make. I was stumped.

"I might just make everyone cereal," I laughed. "What kind of cereal do the guys like?"

"Cinnamon Toast Crunch," he answered.

I grabbed 8 bowls from the cabinet and set them all on the island. Jonah grabbed the box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch from the pantry and started pouring some in each bowl. I grabbed the milk and poured that in after Jonah. Once we finished, I went to knock on Taylor's door as Jonah was waking the other guys up. I knocked on her door, and she came out within a millisecond.

"You're in a rush," I raised an eyebrow as she rushed passed me.

"I heard you were making Cinnamon Toast Crunch for breakfast," she was already in the kitchen before I could even turn around.

All of the other guys got up and sat or stood around the island. Jonah and I were the last people to get there. We all ate our cereal, and talked about our plans for the next few days.

"I'm going to have dance everyday since I'm going on tour next week," Taylor explained.

"I'll be off work one full day, and then I get off early for two days," I told them.

"We will be here. We might go explore Miami some more. Not sure yet," Corbyn shrugged.

"If I could take off dance, I would," Taylor sighed.

"No. You're not allowed," Eben told her.

"I know, I know," she laughed.

"We only have four days left with you, Tay," Daniel realized.

"I'll come back to see y'all. I promise," she laughed.

"I leave in June, so you'll still have some time with me," I said as I finished my cereal.

"I wish both of you were staying until June," Eben pouted.

"Yeah. I'm gonna miss you when you leave," I sighed and look at Taylor.

"It'd be easier if we left at the same time," Taylor agreed. "But I'd still miss you way too much."

"The struggle," Zach commented.

"Is real," Taylor and I said at the same time.

Everyone laughed. We all finished our cereal and cleaned up the table. All the guys went back to the living room, but Jonah stayed to help me do the dishes. This guy was always trying to help.

"You don't have to help," I told him.

"I helped you make it, so I'll help you clean it up," he said.

"Go sit down," I laughed and tried to push him away.

"No way," he shook his head and laughed.

I put my hands under the faucet and then splashed him with a little bit of water.

"It is so on," he said before splashing me back.

"Oh no you didn't," I gasped.

"Yes I did," he laughed.

I reached under the faucet to get more water on my hands, but he immediately wrapped his arms around me from behind and pulled me away from the sink.

"Jonah," I whined.

There was a puddle of water on the floor. We both were laughing. I reached up and lightly slapped him on the face and wiped water on him. He let me go and wiped the water off of his face.

"What are y'all doing?" Jack asked.

Jonah and I froze and turned to look at him. We made eye contact before starting to laugh again. Then Taylor walked up. She groaned.

"Please clean that up," she sighed pointing at the puddle on the ground.

"Yes ma'am," I saluted.

Jonah grabbed a hand towel and so did I. We both cleaned up the mess.

"I'm leaving. You're going to be late," Taylor told me. "And you still haven't done the dishes."

"Crap," I said under my breath.

"I'll do them. You go," Jonah told me.

"Ugh," I groaned.

I was going to protest, but he shoved me out of the kitchen.

"This is so not fair," I folded my arms.

"Yes it is. I promise," he laughed.

"Whatever, Marais," I rolled my eyes and laughed.

"Now get to work before you're late," he opened the front door for me.

"Okay, okay. I'm going," I said. "Where's Ajax?"

I went to the living room and saw Ajax chewing on one of the toys I had brought for him. I put him on a leash and then was ready to go. I grabbed my keys and my phone before heading out to my car. Then I was on my way to work.
