Hayden's pov

Zach and I were dancing to the tropical island music that they were playing from the speakers while Jonah and Eben were laughing at us. Soon the other guys walked up.

"What in the-" Daniel was trying not to laugh.

That was the first time he laughed since Taylor left. I was glad to finally see him smile.

"Dance with us!" I grabbed his hands and pulled him over to me and Zach.

He danced for like half a second before running back to the other guys.

"Lame," I held up and L.

"Thanks. I really appreciate that," Daniel joked.

We both laughed.

"Are y'all ready now?" Corbyn asked.

"Yeah," I answered.

We all walked down to the beach and laid out our towels. We set our stuff down, and all the guys took off their shirts while I put my sunglasses on.

"How did a soccer ball get in my bag?" I looked up at the guys.

"I put it in there. Wanna play?" Zach asked as he took it out of the bag.

We all spread out and kicked the ball back and forth. We did that for a while until it was getting hot.

"How cold do you think the water is?" Eben asked Corbyn.

"I don't know. It's probably freezing since it hasn't really had a chance to warm up yet," I heard Corbyn answer as I took off the clothes over my bikini.

I saw Jack look and me and shake his head in disapproval. What was his deal? That's when someone picked me up and threw me over their shoulder. I could tell it was Eben because of how tall he was.

"Eben!" I yelled and smacked his back. "Put me down!"

"No can do," he laughed as we got to the water.

He got out to about mid-thigh deep in the water before throwing me. I went under water and immediately came back up. All the guys were in the water by now.

"You are so going down," I shook my head and pushed him.

He stumbled back but lost his balance and fell back into the water. I was actually pretty strong for being as short and slim as I was. Eben came back up and ruffled his arm. Water flew everywhere.

"Hayden, that's not nice," Corbyn folded his arms.

"Really? That's not nice? What about this?" I asked before splashing all of them.

Jonah ran up and tackled me. We both went underwater. We came back up, and I splashed him in the face. He flipped his arms so the water flew and hit me in the face.

"Ow! My eye!" I faked.

"I'm not falling for that," he laughed.

"It was worth a shot," I shrugged.

We splashed each other for a few more seconds, and then I was splashed in the face.

"That is freezing!" I yelled.

Everyone laughed.

"I'm going back to the towels before I actually freeze to death and my limbs fall off," I told them.

"You are such a drama queen," Zach said as I was walking passes him.

"Thanks," I smiled.

I walked back to the towels and dried off. The guys stayed in the water for a while longer. I sat on my towel and put my earbuds in. By the time they came back, I had already dried off. Even my hair was dry.

"Took you long enough," I looked up at them as I took my earbuds out.

"You're just lame," Daniel held up and L liked I had done earlier.

"I was freezing," I pouted.

"Are you freezing now?" Jonah asked me.

"Nope. It feels good out here," I replied.

"Good," he said.

"Do you want to play some more soccer?" Corbyn asked.

"Yeah," everyone said.

"I'll be out there in a second," I told them.

Jack stayed behind as I stood up and put my phone back in the bag.

"What?" I sighed.

"You're showing too much," he shook his head.

"Are you serious?" I rolled my eyes.

"I'm just trying to look out for you," he shook his head and walked away.

I threw on my clothes over my bikini. Not because Jack had said I was "showing too much". I was going to put them on anyway, but he decided to make a comment about it. I walked over to the guys, and we kicked the soccer ball around some more. Zach air balled it, and it went flying over our heads. We watched as it landed by a group of girls. One of them picked it up as the others looked over to where it came from. Her friends followed her gaze and saw me and the guys. They all started walking over towards us.

"Thanks," Jonah told the girl with two french braids as she handed him the ball.

"No problem, sexy," she touched his arm.

I folded my arms.

"Is there a problem?" one of her friends with long, dirty blond hair asked me rudely.

I rolled my eyes and walked back to my towel.

"Roll your eyes again, bitch," the friend with a messy bun told me.

I turned around and looked at her.

"Hey, you can't talk to our best friend like that," Daniel said as he walked up to her.

That's when all the guys followed him and were in front of the three girls. The one with her hair in a bun looked Zach up and down before smirking.

"You're hot," she bit her lip.

I tried to hold in my laugh, and she glared at me. Then she turned back to Zach and leaned up to kiss him, but he quickly backed away.

"I don't kiss hoes," Zach told her.

All the guys busted out laughing.

"Thanks for the ball, though," he added.

"Come on, Hayden," Jonah wrapped his arm around my shoulder, and we walked back to where we were playing soccer.

The girls stormed back to their spot. The guys and I couldn't stop laughing. Those girls had acted so desperate. It was so pathetic.
