Hayden's pov

The sun was starting to set, and I started getting a sad vibe.

"Do you have to leave again?" Taylor pouted.

"Yeah," Daniel answered. "But we will be back right after tour."

Taylor picked at her nails.

"I wish we could stay longer, but we can't," Zach frowned.

"As soon as we get back from tour, we are coming straight here to take a break," Eben looked at me.

"No, you can't take a break from recording," I protested.

"There's a studio in Miami. We can just talk to our management and work it out," Jack said.

"Really?" Taylor looked up.

"Yeah. This time we will actually find a place to stay," Corbyn laughed.

"I mean... We don't mind y'all staying here," I told them. "But we get it if you want to go somewhere that has room for everyone."

"Actually. I was hoping you'd say you wanted us to stay here," Corbyn agreed.

"All in favor of us staying here?" Zach raised his hand.

Everyone else raised their hands as well. Even Taylor and I.

"I guess it's settled," Corbyn laughed.

"Wait!" Zach yelled.

We all looked at him. He stared at me.

"You said you couldn't date me because I'm not 18 yet, but you're telling Taylor and Daniel to date?" he asked. "Taylor isn't even 18. She's 17."

"My birthday is next week," Taylor laughed.

That shut Zach up. Everyone busted out laughing except Zach.

He said, "Oh."

"Let's watch a movie," Eben suggested.

I grabbed the remote and turned on Netflix. We let guys pick because it was their last night here. They decided on the genre first, which was horror. We started scrolling through the scary movies on Netflix. They didn't have a lot of really scary movies from what I'd heard. I didn't like horror movies, so I wouldn't know. Taylor, on the other hand, loved horror movies and things like that. She liked being scared by them, which I didn't understand because why would you want to be scared on purpose? Eventually, they chose Veronica. I had no clue what it was about. Corbyn and Zach moved down to the floor so that gave Eben, Jack, and I more room on the couch.

"Wait!" I said before they pressed play.

Taylor knew what I was going to do and jumped up with me. We popped 4 bags of popcorn. One for Taylor and Daniel, one more Corbyn and Zach, one more Jonah, and one for me, Eben, and Jack. We also got water bottles for everyone. We handed them their stuff.

"Thanks, girls," Jonah said.

"Thanks," everyone copied him.

"You're welcome," Taylor and I laughed.

Taylor turned all of the lights off before sitting down in Daniel's lap again. I sat between Eben and Jack like I was previously. Eben immediately put his arm around me. I heard Jack sigh. Corbyn pressed play, and the movie started. I was already terrified. As soon as the first jump scare came up, I gasped and covered my face with my hands. Eben tightened his grip around me. I refused to watch the movie after that. I peeked through my fingers once creepy music started playing, but my eyes were on Taylor and Daniel. All the guys jumped. Taylor gasped and covered her face. Daniel wrapped his arms around her as she buried her face in the crook of his neck.

"You okay?" Eben whispered.

I nodded, removing my hands from my face. I was stupid to do that because there was another jump scare. I couldn't handle these things. They scared me so bad. I knew I wouldn't be able to sleep later on. Finally, the movie was over. Corbyn got up and turned on two of the lamps in the living room.

"That was a good movie," Taylor said. "Great special effects."

"Yeah. They did a good job with the jump scares as well," Corbyn added.

"I agree," Jack jumped in the conversation.

I was quiet and just tried to forget about the movie.

"Hayden?" Eben asked.

I looked up at him.

"You okay?" he furrowed his eyebrows.

"Tired," I lightly smiled.

"Me too," Taylor said.

"You two need to go to sleep. You have work, and you have dance," Jack looked at both of us.

"Yeah, yeah," Taylor laughed shortly before yawning.

Jonah was already asleep in the recliner, and Zach was half asleep, leaning his head on the couch. Jack was now half asleep because I saw him struggling to keep his eyes open.

"Ugh. I don't want to get up," Taylor whined.

"I got you," Daniel told her before picking her up bridal style and carrying her to her room.

"Guess I'm talking you," Eben said before doing the same.

It was dark in my room except for the very small portion from the light shining in from the living room. Eben set me down on the bed. I crawled under the covers, but I was still sitting up. Eben got up to walk out.

"Wait," I blurted.

He turned around.

"I'm not going to be able to sleep," I sighed. "That movie was too much for me."

He looked into the living room and then shut my door. He plugged in the small lights i had hanging around my bed, so there was some light in the room. He sat on the bed beside me.

"Thanks," I smiled softly.

"You're welcome," he smiled back.

My heart skipped a beat. He leaned in slightly, but I couldn't tell if it was my mind tricking me or not. Then I was for sure he was, so I closed the gap between our lips. We pulled apart, and he smiled.

"You coming?" Corbyn cracked the door open.

Eben looked at me, and I nodded. He got up and left the room. I laid back down to think. What was I doing with my life? What ever happened to Seth? He made me so happy, and I somewhat just cheated on him.
