Hayden's pov

After the show, everyone came backstage. All of the dancers went to their dressing rooms to change into some comfy clothes. I saw Justin come backstage.

"Hayden, walk with me," he gestured for me to walk with him.

I jogged to catch up with him before slowing down to his pace.

"You did great tonight. One of the best concerts I've ever been to," I said.

"Thanks, I appreciate that," he smiled.

"So what's up?" I asked.

We walked into a hallway and turned a corner.

"Okay, so, I was thinking-" he started.

"Whoa, you thinking is a scary thought," I joked.

"Ha-ha. Very funny," he rolled his eyes and laughed.

"Okay, continue," I said.

"I don't really know you that well, and you're Taylor's best friend. You seem super cool, and I think we need to get to know each other," he proposed.

"Alright. I'm down. When do you want to hang out?" I asked.

"Tomorrow?" he shrugged.

"Yeah. The guys are leaving tomorrow, so I guess we could do that," I agreed.

We stopped in front of his dressing room.

"No girls allowed, sorry," he smirked as he opened the door.

"Yeah, yeah," I nodded. "I'll go find Taylor."

"See you at the hotel," he smiled.

"Sounds good," I smiled back.

He went in his room and shut the door. I walked down the hallway trying to find Taylor's room. I turned a corner and ran straight into Ty.

"Sorry," I gasped.

"It's okay," he laughed.

"Hey, do you mind taking me to Taylor's dressing room? I kinda forgot where it was," I explained.

"Sure," he nodded.

"You did great tonight," I told him.

"Thanks. I try," he laughed.

"I wish I could dance, but I'm not coordinated enough for that," I joked.

"I can show you some moves," he suggested.

"Really? I don't think I'd be too good," I shrugged.

"Come on. If you don't like it, then I won't make you do it anymore. Just one lesson," he said.

"Okay, fine. I guess one lesson won't hurt," I agreed as we stopped at Taylor's door.

"Alright. I'll catch ya later," he smiled before jogging around the corner.

I knocked on Taylor's door. A second later, she opened the door and let me in. I shut the door behind me as I walked in. She had changed into black athletic shorts with a faded red t-shirt.

"I'm just finishing up," she told me as she threw her hair up in a messy bun.

I helped put some stuff in her bookbag. She put on some socks and slipped on her Nike slides. I handed her the bookbag, and she slipped it over her shoulders.

"Thanks, Hay," she smiled.

"Anytime," I smiled back, and she locked our arms.

We left the dressing room and met Justin and the guys out back. We reached the end of the hall and opened the back door. I saw the guys and Christina talking to Justin and the other dancers. Daniel looked over and saw us walking out. Everyone else followed his gaze and quieted down.

"There's my girl," he smiled as I unlocked arms with Taylor.

He walked up to her and gave her a hug. I watched them as they hugged. Taylor looked so happy when she was with him. I walked over to the guys.

"If anyone was going to take care of my best friend, I'm glad it's Daniel," I told them.

"That's cute," Justin said.

"What?" I questioned.

"You looking out for your best friend," he pointed out.

Daniel and Taylor walked up to us. Daniel had him arm wrapped around Taylor's shoulders, and she was holding his hand.

"Too cute," I squealed.

"Maybe if you'd actually try to be in a relationship again, you could have this for yourself instead of trying to get me to live it for you," Taylor sighed.

"Taylor," I frowned.

"Sorry, but it's true," she shrugged.

"What happened in her previous relationship?" I heard Cody whisper to Andy.

"Don't worry about it. He's long gone, and there's no point in discussing it," I smiled.

"Aww poor Hayden," Jonah pulled me into a hug.

"We better get back to the hotel. It's past midnight," Justin announced.

Everyone agreed, and we made it back to the hotel by 1:30 in the morning. We walked into the lobby and no one was in there except for the lady at the desk. We all piled in the elevator, but Zach took the stairs since he was scared to get in with all of us. I cuddled up to Jonah's side since I was so tired. We got to our floor, and before the doors opened everyone agreed to meet in Justin's room after we got showers. Taylor and I went to our room. I let her take a shower first. It only took her five minutes. I hurried up and took a quick shower and changed into some gray joggers and a white tank top. I blow dried my hair and then walked out of the bathroom.

"Ready?" Taylor asked.

I yawned and nodded as I picked up my phone. We walking over to Justin's room, and the door was wide open. Jonah, Daniel, and Justin were all in there when we walked in.

"Hey, guys. Corbyn and Christina aren't coming because Christina is really tired and has to catch a flight in a few hours," Jonah told us.

"Yeah, but Jack and Zach are coming in a little bit," Daniel added.

"Sounds alright with me," Taylor said as she walked over to Daniel.

He pulled her onto his lap, and he wrapped his arms around her waist. They were so cute. Maybe she was right when she said I was just trying to live through her. I mean, of course I was going to be happy for her no matter what. But she was right when she said I'm scared to get into a relationship after what happened with my ex...
