Shift in Sound || A Jemi Love Story

Episode 3- Thank you so much!

Demi notices how emotional Sel is over the whole situation with her friend not helping but be curious to what makes her so upset about it but she can't just demand to know something about a person if they are unwillingly telling them. She would rather they tell her in their own time. She can tell how hurt it makes Sel, whatever is wrong with her friend must be really serious but again she can't do anything about it until Sel is willing to tell her.

"We don't have to talk about him if you don't want." Demi explains and Sel nods.

"I'd rather not thanks." She says wiping her eyes from tears, she had promised herself  not to cry but it's so hard not to just thinking about him.

"Well our twenty minutes will be over soon, is it alright if I give you some suggestions on what to do to help you?" Demi questions Sel nodding her head.

"Sure." She says taking the piece of paper from Demi once she had written it down.

"If you throw or at least put away out of sight all the items the baby would have had that will help you take your mind of it. Keep one item such as a stuffed toy and keep in somewhere in which would help you remember the baby." Demi suggests and Sel nods.

"Thanks, I'll try that." She states.

"Also try talking to Nick a little bit more, you need to help each other through this, I can only do so much for you." Demi explains and she nods again. "You know you can still have a baby in the future, you have plenty of time so just keep that in your mind." Demi says in attempt to cheer her up a bit. Selena can't help but crack a small smile just thinking about having a baby in her arms, a baby that came out of love with her and Nick.

"Thank you so much." Selena say and Demi smiles.

"You're welcome, come back same time next week?" She suggests.

"Sounds great." Selena admits.

The rest of the day goes by quickly for Demi, having the first session with Selena really helped her gain more confidence for the rest of the day knowing how much she had helped the girl. She hopes she could help her so much that she is fully cured and ready to try again with her partner for their second baby. Demi enters her parents house placing her keys on the side table before entering the living room smiling when Rosabella runs over, she picks her up holding her against her hip.

"Hey Rosie." Demi greets giving her a kiss on the head, she greets her mom before taking a seat next  to her on the couch placing Rosabella on her lap.

"How was work?" Dianna questions.

"It was good but I just realise how lucky I am." Demi confesses smoothing out some of Rosabella's hair that was sticking up. Rosabella isn't paying attention, she just watches the TV glad that her mother is back.

"What do you mean?" Dianna questions again.

"There was a girl who is taking a miscarriage hard, I never realised but some people struggle so much to have a baby yet Rosie was just handed to me as if she was a present. It made me think that her family is somewhere out there probably in such a state like the girl today." Demi explains.

"You are lucky and I'm proud of you taking her on like that." 

"Thanks," Demi says smiling. "She's my world, she really is." Demi admits watching the girl she sees as her own daughter watching TV completely oblivious that they are talking to her.

"I can see and who knows one day you may have your own with Zac." Dianna states making a smile appear across Demi's face at the thought.

"Well we better get going, we have some groceries to pick up before I can even think about starting dinner." Demi explains through a sigh, she just wants to sit down and rest her legs but she has a lot more to do tonight.
