Joe doesn't know what to say to that, she had never mentioned anything about her father and he never thought to question it. He just presumed he wasn't around anymore which he wasn't but he would never have thought he would have been in jail. He doesn't want her going back in there if it's going to cause her stress, she's carrying his daughter and within the month she should be here healthy. Demi leans down on her legs beginning to cry into her hands. Joe wraps his arm around her bringing her closer to his side or the best he could without his daughter getting in the way.

"Do you want to go in?" Joe questions Demi shaking her head.

"Not today." She says standing up Joe following her action. He brings her into a embrace Demi burying her head into his chest as he softly kisses her head.

"I'll go back in and explain your not up to the session today while you decide what you want to do." Joe demands softly feeling her nod against his chest. Joe makes sure she is in the car securely before  going back in explaining to the officers what's going on.

Demi leans across the car giving Joe a short but sweet kiss before climbing out of the car, Joe only drives away when he knows she is safe and secure in her mother's house going back to jail to continue his work. Demi's mother meets her in the hallway already sensing how upset her daughter is about something. She helps her down to the couch Demi sighing of relief when she takes her shoes off her swollen feet. She's just about had enough of the pregnancy, it's killing her inside and out. She's exhausted all the time, she's happy how much Joe has been helping out though with Rosie as well as housework. She's so restricted to do much, the only reason she is doing work is that it doesn't put much strain on her body, just her mind which is proving difficult.

"What's wrong Dem?" Her mother questions taking a lock of hair out of her face and behind her ear so she could see her beautiful daughter's face.

"I-I saw him." She stammers beginning to cry again a little more.

"Who?" Dianna questions becoming a little concerned.

"D-Dad," She stammers again. "I haven't even told Joe anything about my past and I feel so guilty." She expresses Dianna hugging her when she breaks down crying harder. She suppresses a smile through her sudden burst out of crying when she feels her daughter kick and moving inside as if she's trying to make her mother feel better.

Joe wonders through the door later on that day with Rosie in his arms. He had told Demi to go to bed and rest, not to worry about anything but staying calm for the little girl growing inside of her. He had picked Rosie up from Kindergarten and taken her back to the station, all the other officers fell in love with her when she first went over. Joe places Rosie on her feet making her run off to find something to do. He makes a quick start on dinner before making her way upstairs peering into his bedroom seeing his girlfriend reading on the bed.

"Hey Dems," He greets walking in sitting on the end of the bed, Demi smiles slightly taking hold of his hand needing the comfort after placing her book face down on her belly. "How are you feeling?"

"Better I guess, sorry for worrying you." Demi says Joe shaking his head leaning down pecking her lips gently.

"Don't worry about it." Joe demands softly.

"You want answers don't you?" Demi questions biting her lip.

"Only when you're comfortable to, I gotta go though otherwise dinner will burn." He says Demi letting out a little giggle. Joe leans down kissing her passionately, Demi smiling through the kiss kissing back with the same amount of passion Joe then pulling away.

"I love you." Demi mumbles Joe smiling.

"I love you too, both of you." Joe pecks her lips then leaning down kissing her swollen stomach.
