Shift in Sound || A Jemi Love Story

Episode 54- New House.

Sorry about yesterday :) I'm just going to do this story from now on.

It really didn't take Joe and Demi long to find their perfect house for their growing family. It was in between Joe and Demi's work, just around the corner is where Rosabella goes to school and it is still close to everyone's families. It's so perfect for them they find it hard to believe that it is real but it has to be because they have already started moving in. Rosabella is probably looking forward to it most because she can now live with both her parents without having to move around, it seems like the perfect time for Joe and Demi to settle down in one house with their daughters. Joe had already packed everything up and moved the boxes into the house since he didn't have as much stuff, the furniture will be staying with Nick and Selena, they would be moving Demi's into the new house. Joe walks through the door not helping but smile when he sees the house pretty much empty.

"Dems?!" He shouts so Demi can reply where she is in the house.

"Kitchen!" She shouts back Joe making him make his way through seeing her about to reach for something on top shelf, he stops her grabbing it for her.

"I thought I said leave the high and heavy stuff for when I get here." He lectures placing the packet of rice into the cupboard. Demi groans at him.

"Joseph I'm pregnant not disabled." Demi expresses Joe pecking her lips gently.

"I just don't want you to hurt our daughter." Joe expresses himself lifting her up off the step ladder kissing her again but leaving his lips there. Demi kisses back knotting her fingers in his hair. They only pulled away when they both felt their daughter kick inside of Demi's womb. Demi giggles pulling away from him completely placing her hands on her swollen stomach.

"Seems like our baby girl does want us to do that." Demi states Joe chuckling a little bit.

"I know I felt it!" He exclaims kissing the top of her head. "Go finish off elsewhere safe, I'll do here." Demi groans but follows her boyfriend's command wondering into another room. Last situation she'd want to be in is falling off the step ladder landing in a big heap on the floor. Joe smiles getting up on

the step ladder beginning to unpack the cupboard.   

Rosie runs over to Joe after Kindergarten who is unpacking boxes from the move. Joe smiles pulling her down onto his lap kissing her head. They have the usual conversation, 'have you had a good day' but she seems to love going and has made a couple of friends already. He can't see how she will ever have a problem with bullies. Demi wonders through kissing both of their heads before beginning to unpack boxes with Joe.

"Daddy me made a boyfriend!" Rosie exclaims Joe dropping the book he had in his hands on his legs, Demi can't help but let out a little giggle.

"None of those yet!" Joe demands softly Rosie going red.

"Not like that!" She demands back making Joe chuckle squeezing her cheeks, he then turns to Demi just wanting to make sure he doesn't become a Grandpa quite soon.

"Can we put her on the pill now?" He questions gaining a smack on the chest by his girlfriend and being jumped on by his daughter. "I'm gonna be outnumbered here!" both the girls laugh.

"Can me go to park and meet James?" Rosie questions.

"No, you're never seeing him again!" Joe says Rosie pouting.

"Joseph!" Demi lectures. "Of course you can sweetie, go get your shoes on and I'll take you." Rosie gives her parents a hug before running off. Demi gives Joe the look making him laugh.

"I was joking Dems." Joe reassures.

"Strange boy." Demi says before getting up wondering into the hall of her new house which she is looking forward to hopefully spending a lifetime in.

"Your dating me!" Joe shouts after her shaking his head when he doesn't get a answer. He knew that she had heard him though. While Demi was at the park with Rosie Joe was continuing to unpack into their new house.
