Shift in Sound || A Jemi Love Story

Episode 74- Notes.

It took about a week for Joe and Zac to plan out the whole proposal, Joe wanted something special for Demi, something she would remember for the rest of her life and as if he actually made a effort and took a lot of his time to do the proposal but he thinks he has it. And it was all thanks to Zac. The only problem with what's happening is he won't see a great deal of her all day and he doesn't like the idea of not seeing her smile and hearing her laugh. Joe woke up that morning early so he could get away from Demi before she notices him. Demi wakes up a couple of hours later frowning when she doesn't feel the presence of her boyfriend. She knows she has to get up so climbs out of her bed heading into the shower to take a quick shower she then realises it's their one year anniversary, she knows he will be planning something so begins preparing herself mentally. She gets out the shower and changes into something warm since it's cold outside before wondering downstairs Rosie running over to her.

"Daddy told me to give you this!" Rosie exclaims running off. A smile pulls at either side of Demi's mouth as she opens the envelop revealing a white card. She flips it over revealing the writing reading it over and over again in her mind.

'Hey gorgeous, you won't see much of me today :( I'll be busy with Zac while you're busy with Sel. Go up to Naya's room where you'll find another card'

Demi smiles impossible wider making her way back upstairs into Naya's room looking around the room to see what Joe was on about. When she doesn't see anything she walks over to the crib smiling down at her daughter noticing the card is laying on top of her. She leans down kissing her head bringing the card back up with her. She reads the next note curious on what it says, she can't get over how sweet he is being.

'Nearly done! While I'm out today you will be going shopping with Sel to find something special to wear for our date tonight. I have left some money in a envelop on top of your drawers to take with you, she will be over  soon so get ready!'

"What is he up to?" Demi questions when Selena and Nick wonder through the door Carter sleeping peacefully in the car seat which Nick has a hold of. Both of them give Demi a little grin excited with what will happen today. That just makes Demi more curious on what he is up too, he's never been one to be creative so she kind of likes this side of him for a change.

"We can't tell you." Nick states making Demi groan.

"But I don't like surprises!" Demi exclaims making them both laugh.

"We're off shopping while Nick keeps an eye on the kids so get ready." Selena demands softly Demi groaning again. 

"Why can't I just wear something I already have?" Demi questions.

"Because Joe wants it to be special, trust me Demi everything will be fine by the end of the day okay? Just follow what we're doing  and you'll be fine.

"Fine, let me just go feed Naya."

 Demi climbs out of the car wondering into the shop in which Sel has led her into seeing it's quite an expensive shop.

"Sel I don't have this much money." Demi sates as she brings out the envelope Joe had given her pulling out a huge bundle of cash making her eyes widen. She's never seem so much money in her hand at once before.

"He saved it up so he could treat you." Selena says a smile wide on her face. All that's wondering through Demi's mind is how wonderful her boyfriend is. It's only just starting for the day.
