Episode 15- He may never be the person you knew

They push the bed back into the place against the wall Nick being able to get a good look at his older brother sleeping as he has a blood transfusion. Nick looks away not wanting to see his brother in such a state. He looks up at the doctor who is just checking everything is in place before he tells Nick what's gone on while Joe was with them.

"He'll be fine, whoever stabbed him luckily missed any organs so we just stitched him up and given him some blood." He explains making Nick sigh of relief. 

"Thank you." Nick says making the middle aged man smile.

"No problem, is it alright if I send the cops in to get a report from you?" He questions and Nick nods. Unfortunately he won't be able to tell them anything about who stabbed is brother cause he doesn't know but he will tell them whatever they can. Nick slept well that night knowing that his brother is safe in a hospital bed.

Selena holds onto Joe's hand as they wonder the streets the next day ready for his session with Demi. Sel is keeping a good eye on him in case he decides to wonder off. Selena sighs slightly when she begins hearing Joe mumble something she doesn't even understand. They reach the top of the street Selena looking up at Joe seeing he is completely not being aware of where he is. That makes Selena feel a little bit better knowing that he might actually be able to get him there this time. She doesn't say anything just in case it knocks him out the trance he is in. She reaches the door only to feel his hand leave hers, she turns around seeing him running down the street.

"Knew I should have put my flats on!" Sel exclaims slipping her shoes off rushing down the street in attempt to catch up with him.

Sel wonders into the building about twenty minutes later without Joe looking stressed tired and sweaty. She slumps down in a chair in Demi's office Demi trying her best not to giggle at her guessing what happened. Demi still thinks it would be a good idea if she were to come to them but Sel knows Joe more than she does and if she doesn't think it will help then there's no point in doing it. She has had to do it before though.

"He made it to the door." Selena states blowing out so a bit of her hair isn't in her face.

"At least that's an improvement, next time he might make it here." Demi explains and Sel nods.

"I didn't think he would be able to run as fast, he was stabbed last night and was only realised from hospital this morning." Selena explains turning Demi into shock slightly.

"What happened?" Demi questions leaning forward on her seat curious and a little bit concerned.

"We hadn't seen him all day, he finally showed up at around ten. Nick went up with him, next thing I knew I heard Joe scream and Nick begging for me to call an ambulance." Selena explains.

"Is he okay?" Demi questions.

"Yeah, he had to have stitches and a blood transfusion but he's fine now," Selena notes and Demi nods. "Nick said that when he took his hand of the wound he screamed out in pain but when he put it back Joe just carried on reading as if nothing happened, then he keeps chanting something I don't even understand." Sel explains.

"Well once he finally gets here I'll try my best to help you out." Demi reassures.

"I hope you can, our only other option is to send him to a home." Sel admits.

"I don't think you'll have to do that, he may not ever be the same person you knew but at least he won't be putting danger onto himself." Demi explains making Selena sigh. She doesn't like the idea of never knowing the Joe she used to be. The goofy boy she fell in love with, in a friendly way anyway. She misses his funny jokes, how he was really immature. She wants to hear him sing again, the songs he has wrote because at the moment the only way he speaks any sense is when he sings songs that he wrote before he changed or ones Nick had wrote with Kevin.
