Demi went home later on that day with Joe and Naya the doctors positive everything is okay with both Demi and the newborn. It was a couple of days after that she wanted to go see her dad again, she knew he'd be worrying about where she is as she was supposed to go see him every day. Joe would be staying home to look after Naya Demi positive that he would be okay doing that as well as keeping a eye on Rosie since it's a Saturday. She climbs out of the car going through the whole procedure of emptying her pockets and being searched for anything she shouldn't have until she was finally let in where he dad was. John smiles getting off his seat giving his daughter a hug seeing that the bump that was once there is gone meaning he can stop worrying about her.
"I'm glad your okay." He says Demi giving him a warm smile, he was allowed to be free from the handcuffs because how well he has been doing since Demi arrived to work with him.
"Yeah just a little tired more than anything and I still ache." Demi admits as they both take a seat.
"Do I have a Granddaughter or Grandson then?" John questions.
"I had a little girl, Joe and I called her Naya." Demi explains a smile on her face as she speaks about her little girl. She didn't think it would have been possible to love someone so much. Joe was right when he said that if she loves Rosie as much as she does words wouldn't describe how much she would love her own son or daughter.
"Aw I'd love to hopefully meet her one day," He begins. "And I hope that Joe boy is looking after you." He says Demi smiling at the protectiveness he is showing. The same look in his eyes that she sees in Joe about Rosie or Naya.
"He is trust me, I wouldn't put up with his crap if he weren't." Demi says her dad laughing.
"Your mom did a good job raising you, I just wish I could have been there." He says Demi holding his hands over the table."
"I'm here now dad." She says making him smile. They were in there for hours just getting to know each other better Demi really enjoying herself but she soon feels empty. Not having her daughter close by is giving her serious separation anxiety even though she knows Joe will be at home taking perfect care of her. He has more experience with newborns than she does and she has more experience as they grow older. They will just help each other out as she grows through the different stages.
"Go, I know you want to be with Naya." John encourages.
"You sure?" Demi questions John nodding his head. "Okay, I'll be back tomorrow." Demi says leaning over kissing his cheek before leaving.
Demi smiles when she wonders into the living room seeing Joe asleep laid on the couch with Naya also sleeping on his chest. She kisses both of their heads content that they are both okay before making her way into the kitchen seeing Rosie colouring quietly knowing her father and little sister is sleeping in the other room.
"Me let daddy and Naya sleep." Rosie says as Demi takes a seat next to her.
"Well done," Demi praises. "Daddy won't be able to play as much at the moment but you'll understand that more when your older."
"Me know, daddy works then Naya wakes you and daddy up in the night." She explains.
"Does she wake you up?" Demi questions stroking her hair gently.
"Yeah but I don't mind because I love her!" She exclaims making Demi smile slightly. "Look me draw picture, that's you, daddy, me and Naya." Rosie replies pointing at each other the figures on the paper. Demi smiles impossibly wider.
"Should we put this on the fridge with your other drawings?" Demi questions Rosie nodding. Demi grabs the piece of paper pinning it up with a fridge magnet. "There, now do you want to help make lunch?" Demi questions.
"Yeah!" She loudly whispers making Demi giggle.
