Chapter Thirty Six: ACCIDENT

It’s a miracle that nothing bad happened while Xayromie and Vance were at the same place that day. Para bang sinagot ng langit ang panalangin ko nung araw na iyon na huwag gawing mahirap at madugo iyon. Hindi sila nagsuntukan o kung ano pa man, nagsusukatan lang sila ng tingin and I think miracle na ang nangyaring iyon.

After kumalat ng nangyari sa swimming class area where Xayromie really had left a word that I am his girlfriend, he gained more followers or should I say fans that adores him and me? I actually gained something too. But heck it was enemies and haters. Sa sobrang dami kailangan ko ng proteksyon ni Xayromie from them.

Ni hindi ko magawang lumabas ng room mag-isa dahil hindi ko alam kung anong trap ang nag-aabang sa akin. The last time I checked muntik na akong malaglagan ng paso na muntik ko na ring ikamatay. It was actually a big vase! Kung hindi siguro mabilis ang reflexes ng isang ito para masagip ako ay baka dead on arrival na ako sa hospital. At ang ikinamatay? Paso lang naman. Katatapos lang ng klase naming ngayon at heto ako kasabay si Xayromie sa paglabas ng campus.

“I’ll take you home.” Sabi niya nang makarating kami sa parking lot.

“Nah, ibaba mo na lang ako doon sa waiting shed. I’ll commute.” Sagot ko at saka pumasok ng kotse matapos niya akong pagbuksan. Hindi naman siya nagsalita o sumagot pa basta sumakay na lang rin siya at saka nagmaneho. Hindi naman kalayuan ang shed sa school. Pero kailangan ko lang sumabay sa kanya to perform our duties sa deal and also para hindi ako mabully outside the school. Wala kasing tumatangka sa buhay ko whenever his around. Marahil ay takot sila sa kaniya, though hindi ko naman makita kung ano ang dapat na katakutan sa kanya. Dahil kung ang pagiging suplado lamang niya iyon, ay wala namang epekto sa akin.

Medyo malapit na kami sa shed ng mapansin kong parang ang bilis masyado ng takbo naming. I told him to stop the car ng kaunti na lang ay tapat na kami nun. But he didn’t. He just continued driving na para bang walang naririnig na rants mula sa akin which made me more irritated and pissed. I tried talking to him in a calm and nice manner pero wala pa rin nangyari. He just kept that silent treatment. Noong nakaraang araw pa ‘yan e, at hndi ako sanay! Kaunting-kaunti na lang talaga at mauubos na ang pasensya ko sa lalaking ito, kaunti na lang promise!

“Xayromie!! Stop the car or else pagsisisihan mo itong ginagawa mo!” I said with an irritating tone. But he just ignored what I said and that’s when I lost my patience. I counted one to ten to calm myself but I just can’t so I did what I should have did long time ago. I bit him in the arm with all my strength in it. Talagang binuhos ko na lahat ng energy ko sa kagat na iyon, but I was shocked to the next things that happened.

Xayromie Perez’s Point of View

I was actually mad at her for a stupid reason. I shouldn’t be like this on the very first place because I shouldn’t freaking care about that stupid cuckoo girl. But what she did last day gave me headaches! She was receiving death notes since when the whole campus known about us being in a senseless relationship. They actually thought that we are in good terms and that we really do love each other. Well, that is actually good for the deal’s success but I didn’t expect the crowd to be like this. It’s pathetic and ridiculous!

          I didn’t follow what she had told me earlier. I don’t care, because whether she likes this or not I will take her home and she cannot stop me. I did ignore everything that comes out of her mouth. I just acted like I didn’t hear her at all. She even threatened me, akala naman niya eepekto sa akin. I just drove faster than what we were a while ago. Nag-eenjoy akong naaasar ang babaeng ito, and I can’t help but smirk devilishly. I was about to over take this turtle like car sa unahan naming when I felt that stinging sensation on my right arm.
