Y/N took out a sticky note from her purse and jotted something down. She wanted Hwall to have it. Maybe to reassure herself that Hwall would always have some sort of trace of her. After all, they had been friends for life up until a year ago, where they parted ways because of his dream career. The doll would be in good hands. She knew it.

She stuck the sticky note onto the doll. She stood up and brushed off any dirt on her clothes and confidently walked inside, holding her head up high with the doll in her hand. She trotted to Hwall, who had perked his head up, hearing the taps of her feet on the tiled floor. She headed directly to Hwall, and handed the old doll to him. She smiled meekly. She knew he would forget her again after several days. After all, friends are meant to be forgotten, aren't they? Promises are meant to be broken, aren't they?

Y/N contained her tears and bowed to him as Hwall accepted the doll once again. She was moving the next day... Far, far, away. She wouldn't be able to see him again. Ever. "I want you to have it. And remember the memories, please," she smiled continuously before she turned away and walked quietly off. She was gone as quickly as she had come in. Hwall peeled off the sticky note and read the bolded words.

Take care of it well! Don't lose it, ever, you dummy!

A photo of two people were attached to it. It was a small, rectangular polaroid photo. It had bad lighting, but you could make out Hwall and Y/N making a heart shape out of their hands.

Hwall widened his eyes. He remembered. The memories came rushing to him like a tidal wave. The members thankfully weren't present at the moment to bug and pester him, and were all dispersed and scattered everywhere. Probably talking outside or somewhere else with one another. He, for once, liked the silence and privacy he got.

He sprinted out the entrance as fast as he could. He remembered how close they were. They weren't dating, and didn't exactly have feelings for one another that time, but still held hands and traveled everywhere together. They were two peas in a pod and couldn't be separated. Hwall tripped over some rocks in the thin blades of grass but he quickly got up and ran forward. He caught a glimpse of Y/N's head in the sea of people walking back and forth from one street to another.

Hwall called out her name numerous times, but she didn't look back. He became lost in the crowd. He scanned the horde of people for any signs of Y/N, but he couldn't find her. He frowned and sighed, but he still clung onto a little bit of hope.

"Y/N!" he cried out.

And there, in the middle of the crowd, not too far away, Y/N turned around.
