A/N: Wow, I'm actually back! Sorry for the delay in everything, ever since entering high school I got caught up in work. Now that there's quarantine, I might be more active

It was Wednesday today. I hummed as I finished brushing my teeth, waiting for my tutor to come. I was still wearing my pajamas, but I could care less about how I presented myself in front of him. If he thinks I dress like a homeless bum, then so be it. Not that I care.

I had actually managed to do something productive for once, which was clean the small living room and kitchen. My room was definitely off-limits, as it would probably take decades to even wipe the floor down.

"Man, I don't even have study material... I trashed all my books since day one," I said aloud, a little spaced out.

Suddenly I heard a voice behind me.

"Really? That's quite extreme. I brought extra textbooks and study material from my home."

I turned around, surprised, and noticed it was Kevin Moon. Rolling my eyes and keeping my composure, I said a little annoyed, "Shouldn't you have knocked before you came in? How'd you even trespass without my permission?"

Kevin Moon didn't seem fazed by my retort. "It's your fault for leaving the door unlocked as well as ignoring how long I had been knocking on your door."

"Wha- Unlocked?" I gawked. "Ugh, no way..." I groaned but immediately dismissed the topic, waving at him to have a seat at the couch in front of the coffee table.

"Thank you for having me. Where are your parents? Shouldn't your parents-" He began to say.

Abruptly, I cut him off. Ugh... Even mentioning my parents ticks me off. "Shut up, you ice prince or whatever. If you think you're so great, just do your job properly. Don't pry into my business. Just tutor me and get it all over with so I don't have to go to summer school and repeat the grade."

I grabbed my pencil case from my school backpack (yes I was decent enough to bring a pencil case at least) and sat down next to him, crossing my legs over each other. I knew I just radiated 'I hate this' energy, but oh well. It'd only benefit me if I was so frustrating to deal with that he'd quit.

"Don't worry, you're personal life isn't my concern. And I have no means to make you fail. But you're going to have to do your part too and actually try," Kevin turned his head to look at me with that unwavering look in his eyes. His neutral expression just pissed me off for some reason. Maybe because I was always used to having people react dramatically to what I say?

If I told him I wasn't going to put any effort in he'd probably go into some noble speech so I'd better keep my mouth shut and obey-...

Wait-

Why am I the one who's supposed to go along so easily with this?! I never wanted this in the first place! I hate studying! Why is he here?! I want him out!!

.... Is what I want to say out loud, but even I know that if I don't go along with this then I won't hear the end of it from the principal and my teacher. And no way do I want to repeat a year again with the same useless teachers.

"Before getting into business, we should introduce ourselves. That way it won't be as awkward," Kevin said, interrupting my thoughts and startling me. He's so quiet and still that sometimes I completely forget he's sitting next to me.

I 'tsk'ed. "You sound like we're business partners. Also, introduce ourselves? What, are we going to list our hobbies and preferences or something like a blind date? To make it clear, I don't want to be your friend, and we both already know each other's name, so there's no need." I huffed and crossed my arms.
