ANALISE’S POV
“We’re heading out in ten.” Matt told me as he peeked his head through the door.
I simply nodded, and continued the struggle to zip up my bulging luggage bag.
“Are you alright?” He asked. I couldn’t believe this was happening – here we were again. Every time I thought he was being kind, or making an effort to talk to me, or even acknowledging me, it ends up in lies, confusion, and us ignoring each other.
“Ahh!” I shrieked, just snapping out of wonderland as my bag fell off the bed and onto my leg.
“Ana are yo-”
“What’s up with you?” I asked harshly, swatting his hand that was offering to help me back up.
“Up with me?” He questioned back, staring at me with disbelief.
He scoffed before saying, “You know what? Forget I’m trying to make things alright between us so that we could maybe be friends! Forget that I tried to even tolerate you. ”
I huffed with frustration and picked up my bag and the scattered results that fell out of the front zip.
“Tolerate me? What am I? An annoying pest?” I asked back fiercely. I’ had enough with him.
“In my world, you’re nothing.” He spat.
“Well if I’m nothing, it shouldn’t be hard to stay away from me then, should it?!” I exclaimed and stormed out of the room, pushing past his shoulder in anger.
. . .
“What happened with you and Matt?” Nash asked me worriedly.
“You guys are acting like each other don’t exist.” Taylor commented.
“Well maybe that’s the way I want it to be.” I remarked as I watched the blonde boy talk privately with Carter – another one who doesn’t like me. I bet Matthew is brain washing him… Sounds like something he might try.
Nash made sure to look around and speak softly as Taylor walked off to speak to Shawn and the other guys.
“Look I’m sorry for snapping at you at the thera-” He began to apologize, but I had gotten over it. I figured I didn’t need the extra stress or worry of what was happening to me; If I felt okay, then I’m okay… right?
“Nash, honestly it’s fin-”
“But it’s not. You deserve to know, and um… I think Hayes does too.”
“Nash, I don’t want Hayes to know? What don’t you get? I don’t think I even know – whatever you and Dr spoke about before was between only you guys for a reason.” I pushed aside the topic, and wheeled my hand carry over to the boarding gate where we got into line and gave out tickets to the ticket attendee.
“All for a reason.” I whispered to myself while I made my way down to the plane door.

CAMERON’S POV
I looked over to her again for what seemed like the hundredth time - I found myself doing this every half hour or so. I just needed to make sure that she was okay.
“Thanks for switching.” I told Nash.
“Yeah no problem. Doesn’t seem like she wanted to sit next to me anyways.” Nash replied from the next row over.
I smiled as she blew little wisps out of her face as she breathed, soundly asleep. I picked up a thick strand of hair that fell ont her shoulder, and carefully tucked it behind her ear, not wanting to disturb her.
“Nash is that you?” She mumbled with a smile, her eyes still shut.
“Um no it’s Cam.” I replied softly.
Her beautiful eyes opened slowly as she stretched in what little space there was.
“Hey.” She greeted as the sunlight from the rising sun twinkled along her face.
“Morning.” I replied with a small smile.
. . .
“Okay so let’s play 20 Questions.” She beamed, smiling up excitedly from her plane snacks.
“Sure.”
“Okay so… favourite colour?” She asked innocently.
I ran my hand through my hair while a small laugh came tumbling out - She was too adorable.
“We play a game with no boundaries to questions, and you want to know my favourite colour?” I questioned.
She looked attentively at me with her eyes slightly closed and her mouth scrunched up as to show her ‘thinking face’, and then smiled and nodded and big ‘yes’ to my question.
“Hmm… Gotta be green.” I replied with a smile.
“Okay… who is your best friend here at MAGCON?” I asked back, hoping that it will be me.
“Definitely… Matt.” She replied.
I think I just died inside.
“I’m kidding!” She laughed and lightly slapped me on the shoulder, but she still seemed unsure about it.
“It’s you!” She finally answered after she recovered from her fits of laughter.
“Oh, well um yeah that’s… that’s great.” I stammered, unable to reply due to the huge smile on my face.
“So, being your favourite and all…” I began, trembling with anxiousness deep underneath.
“I was wondering if we could um…. We should hang out some time. Just you and me – I-I… only if you want to?” I rushed out, feeling not relief from finally getting it out, but fear – fear that she will reject me.
“I think that would be fun.” She replied softly, soothing my shakes with just the sound of her voice – The sound of her voice saying ‘yes’ to my offer.
