After band aids and bandages were applied to these boys we walked to class with our late notes from the nurse. As we were walking out though jack was walking in, he huffed at us but didn't say a word "So why is this Jack kid such a dick?" Jasper asked
"I don't know. He's always gone for the newbies so I'm not sure why the sudden fascination for me?" I say as we walked down the corridors with the boys.
Jamal had grabbed my hand in his good one and the weird thing was it felt so nice, even if I don't want to be or seem clingy I can't help but enjoy all the affection! "Well i think he'll back off now but you tell us if he starts when we're not around?" Jamal says with worried eyes and I nod.
He bends down and gives me a quick kiss sending my whole being all tingly. "I'll see you at lunch?" he says as our foreheads touch and we look into each other’s eyes.
I smile at him and nod "Be careful okay?" he whispers
"I will" he gives me another quick kiss before moving away and down to his room.
I look at Jasper who rolls his eyes at me "What?" I ask and he shakes his head
"I lost my girlfriend overnight and you ask why what's wrong?" I bump shoulders with him
"Aww poor baby and by the way. I was never your girlfriend" I laughed as I walked up to the teacher handing him my note
"Go take a seat" he says sternly.
We find a seat down the back and Jasper continues our conversation "What a way to break a guy’s heart Brook?"
"What do you mean?" I watch as he leans over and whispers to me
"Yesterday you told Jack I was your boyfriend but your friend Jamal comes along and properly gives you a kiss and you're hooked and now going out. Leaving me with a bleeding heart" I watch him for a moment as I don't know if he's serious or not then he cracks a smiles
"Jokes man. Brook you need to settle down. I'm happy for you. Jamal seems like an alright guy. Once he gets to know you" I nod
"Yeah he's normally real personal and private but I'm glad you guys are getting along"
"Yeah" We concentrate on class until it finally ends and we get up and head in different directions for our next class
"Come sit with us at lunch?" I call out
"K!" is all I get as the raging teenagers around me keep pushing me towards my next class.
Finally lunch arrives and I head to my locker first and put away my books before heading to the cafeteria where I see April and Lily in line. I walk over and they smile at me "Well Brook, how does it feel to finally be off the market?" Lily asks and I shrug
"Just the same. I guess?" It does besides holding hands or maybe kissing there's nothing different about it.
I watch Lily look at April who says "You and Jamal look so cute together but not cuter than Jasper and I?" just the words alone make me stare at her.
What? Now that Jamal finally asked me out she goes in and tries to steals the only other guy who cares about me? I swallow before saying something i shouldn't "Yeah. I thought he was single?"
"Not for long" they snicker and i roll my eyes.
Like really? Do you have to sink your claws into every guy here? "Well i invited him to sit with us so I guess you'll have your chance?" they light up and grab me
"You invited jasper to sit with us?" Lily says excitedly.
I nod "Yeah why?" they look at each other
"Toilet's now!" they scream and run off.
I can't believe them. I wait in line and get my food before heading over to our table. Max and Felix are deep in conversation about some class that they don't notice me sit down. I slowly open up my food and eat while they argue about who's right and who's wrong. Suddenly hands come from behind me covering my eyes and I squeal making Max and Felix shut up. I grab the hands and I smile. Jamal is playing with me "Ja, stop it" I say laughing
"It's not Ja. Beautiful" he whispers in my ear and I shiver before struggling to get his grip off my face
"Who is this?" I grip my hands around their wrist and I pull at them to release me but they grip harder and whisper in my ear again
"Come on beautiful who else besides Jamal would do this to you?" I stop and think about it, then I smile
"Jasper!" i scream out and the hands release
"About time!" he smiles as I spin around to see him
"Sit" i say.
He sits next to me and looks over at Max and Felix who are gawking at him, like he's an alien or something?
