I grab my food and go sit down dreading the next conversation I'm about to have with April. We sit down with Lily, Max, Felix and Jamal when April looks at me "So what was Jack on about, back there?" I look at her as I pick up my sandwich ready to open it to eat.
I shrug "Nothing" I mumble as I take a bite, her eye brows raise up
"Nothing? Brook he looked like he was majorly pissed about something and his face looked a little red?" I look at her as I swallow my food "Nothing really. You was just trying to hit on me and wouldn't lay off so this guy punched him and gave him a bloody nose" I bite down into my food hoping she'd just drop it and talk about Tate or something but no such luck.
She grabs my arm and spins me around to look at her "hang on, hang on some guy you don't know hit Jack and gave him a bloody nose this morning before Jack was harassing you and you thinks it's nothing?" well not nothing, I was grateful and would love to get to know jasper a little better but I don't think he'd like that.
Not with the way he was so shy and taken back by my thanking him. I look at April "It was nothing, really April" I hear Lily scoff and I look over "This guy could be your potential boyfriend and it's nothing. Miss you need to get your head straight" I bite my lip as I take in her words but really potential boyfriend from just him helping.
I don't think so and with my life the way it is I don't have time for a boyfriend. "He's not potential anything alright let just drop it!" I was getting frustrated with my friends.
Way did they always have to make such a big deal out of nothing? "So who's the guy from this morning? Do we know him?" and as right on cue Jasper walks through the door and it's like everybody was frozen in time.
Everyone looked at him as he strolled to the food line and grabbed a few things, paid and then walked out. As the door closed behind him everyone just went back to normal, like he hadn't even been there! Argh FML "Oh who was that?" Lily asked and I stop myself from rolling my eyes at her.
You see Lily was like a female version of Dracula, she preyed on Innocent guys, stalked them until they gave into her beautifully good looks and charming ways. They didn't always stay together long enough and I think she's gone through each one the worthy guys more than once. I seriously don't know how she does it and why they come crawling back but she always has some guy waiting.
I look at my friend and see her beauty, no wonder guys liked her. She was flowing blonde hair and nice bright blue eyes and a happy cheery personality. Who wouldn't like to date her? I then look at April and she's a red head with nice blonde streaked hair, a few freckles on her face but she was always smiling and so carefree. I liked April she was easy to get along and she knew all about my life. So when I was stressed out or needed a break she was always there for me, the only thing that changed between us was when she was around 14-15 while I was losing my mum and my family turning into mush she'd decided to lose her virginity from there we drifted apart. She'd go to parties while I stayed home, she had boyfriend after boyfriend and I'd be at home. She'd tell me things but half the time I had no idea what she was on about so when Lily turned up to school April found a new friend and one she could talk to about boys as Lily was experienced in that department as well. I was left out but they always try to include me but now I don't get so upset I have so much going on in my life that I don't need to worry about anyone else. As for the boys in our group let’s just say Lily and April have both slept with them all and that everyone's cool about it and they get to hang with us. Plus we all went to primary school together, so technically April knew them longer but it didn't take Lily long to get to know them as well. She went through them all in a 12 month period, April didn't mind and either did the boys. Me I find it disgusting that they've all sexually been involved with each other and don't mind talking - or bragging about it from time to time and not see a problem with that. Gross I hope that when I find a guy it's not April's or Lily's friend or even knows them especially in that sort of way. I want him to myself to love always. Okay so let's talk about the boys - Max. Max is easy he's tall dark brown hair, likes sports and the ladies. Thinks his god's gift actually. I beg the differ but anyway. Was April's first real boyfriend and her first so they have some sort of connection? Like when they're sexually frustrated they hook up. Me I wouldn't have casual sex at 17 but hey each to their own right. Anyway they broke up after 15 months together. April found a new love. Max dealt with it and soon April and him became friends with benefits as the guy she liked turned out to be a douche bag and broke her heart. He was always there to pick her up. Secretly I think he's hoping she falls in love with him and they get back together but he'd never admit it but you can see it in his eyes when he looks at her. I see it and I've never been in love but I can see when other people are, it's not hard. It’s the body language that gives them away.
