Over the week I had Jamal come pick me up every morning. This seemed to bum Emily out but she still smiled and spoke to him as we waited for her bus to arrive. Dad now stays later and helps me with Emily which is a great help but I still have to get her on the bus. Frank has been a great help and always gets Emily up and in the bus so they can leave on time for the next child. Jamal grabs my hand and walks us to his car and we head off towards school. Its always small chat while we drive and then we go hang out with our friends once we arrive at school. Jasper has kept his distance as promised but I've noticed April and Lily have been trying to get their claws in and i can't deny that I get a little jealous seeing them all mucking around like we used too but its what i asked for so now I live with it. We still catch up in class and after school. Jasper normally pops over after Jamal leaves so there's no friction which is good but I miss us and our time together at school. Jamal just can't make me laugh like Jasper can and although he's tries it just never seems to work and i just fake laugh for him. I think he knows but doesn't say too much. Lunchtimes are now out on the oval just Jamal and i. loving it up at Felix would say and yeah we do and sometimes we go overboard but there's always a limit which we stick too but the more time we spend shacked up the more I want more from us as a couple but I still wanted to wait and so did Ja which I was grateful about. I was excited Friday afternoon just before the bell went. It was late in the afternoon and I had a free period and decided to wait for Ja in the carpark since he had a lesson when April came up and we had a small chat "So you still coming ot the party tomorrow night? ""Yep" i say smiling
"OH?" was all she said like it was a bad thing
"Why?" i ask
"Oh nothing. its okay. Well i guess I'll see you there. bye" she waves then walks off and up to Toby who kissed her and they walked off.
i guess they were hooking up again since Jasper keeps giving her the cold shoulder and we all know how she hates waiting.
Finally Ja walks up and gives me a long passionate kiss before he drives us back to my place where he tells me he can't stay but says he'll call me tonight "Oh okay. Bye" i say after a quick make out session and then he's gone even before Emily's bus got there.
I sat out the front waiting when Jasper's car pulls up in the driveway. I smile as he gets out still with sun glasses on and his hood "Do you ever take them off?" I ask and he stops and looks at me
"What, these?' he points to his face and head and I nod
"yeah"
"Why?" he asks
"Because I want to see what colour eyes you have?"
"Why?" he asks again and I roll my eyes
"Don't worry" i mumble as he sits across from me on the step
"Where's Ja?" he asks and I sigh
"I don't know. Why?"
"Oh I came to ask him if it was still okay for him to take April and Lily tomorrow."
"What?" I ask, no more like snapped at him
"What he hasn't told you? I have to do something for my mum so I'll be late. I'm still going through?" I look out to the road and shake my head "That's why April was asking about the party and if I was still going" i mutter and Jasper looks at me
"I asked Jamal the other day. He said you'd be fine with it?"
"Yeah only because he knows I'd say no!" I snap and Jasper holds his hands up
"Whoa! Sorry B. I can cancel if you like?"
"What no? Don't do that. If you’re helping your mum. You have to help her. I just don't know why Ja didn't just ask me?" i clench my jaw and look at Jasper
