The party was pumping when we arrived, there were cars and people everywhere. i grabbed Jaspers hand as we walked in worried I'd lose him. He just held it tightly until we got inside. The smell of alcohol and cigarettes were over welling and I quickly scanned the place in hopes of finding Jamal but it was too crowded. I feel myself being tugged in and I follow as Jasper holds my hand tightly and pushes past everyone. I see Lily with Felix and Max who wave when they see us. I tap Jasper's shoulder and point to them so he heads that way with me in tow. We get there and I notice Lily look down at our hands so i quickly release them. She looks at me and smirks but I just roll my eyes. We then hear April's laugh and I turn to see her and Toby in the kitchen. I look back at the guys and yell into Felix's ear "Where's Jamal?" he looks around and then points.
I turn to see them dancing on the floor with some brunette chick and my heart drops. how could he? I start to hyperventilate and then Jasper grabs me and takes me outside for some fresh air "B, its not what you think!" i look at him and I feel the tears swell up in my eyes
"W-what?" I ask.
he shakes his head "It's not what you think. The girl Jamal's with is his cousin" I look at him with a blank expression on my face
"How do you know?" he rubs the back of his neck
"Because he introduced us the other day and we're been hanging out"
"What?" I ask shocked that he'd keep this from me and I thought we were friends?
I look over and notice that they're coming our way. Jamal rushes up and grabs me, looking deep into my eyes he smiles "Jealous?" he whispers and he come sin for a kiss and I nod and he chuckles
"I'm sorry. I should have told you" I shrug
"Whatever" we kiss and as we pull away I notice how close this girl is to Jasper and I hold back my anger as Jamal introduces us
"Brook baby, this is my cousin Angel. Angel this is my girlfriend Brook" she come sup and hugs me and whispers in my ear
"I've heard so much about you from both boys" then pulls away and I look at her
"It's a pleasure" we shake hands and I look at Jamal whose smiling and then at Jasper whose looking awkward.
Jasper was dragged to the dance floor by Angel and pretty much was hogged by her the whole night. I know because I was watching. Jamal took me for a walk around and April acted like we were best friends, hugging and kissing on me but I just looked at her and played along "Do you know!" she said while hanging from me "Did you know that the only reason I slept with Jamal here...!" and she pokes Jamal in the chest "Was because I was jealous of you!" then she points to me.
Poor Toby was hanging onto her as she swung wildly "What?" I asked and she giggles and grabs Toby and sloppily kisses him
"I was jealous. *hiccup* I set him up. Lily and I made sure he got drunk and then I took advantage! *hiccup*" I look at her and I feel like I want to rip out her throat.
Jamal grips me tightly and whispers in my ear "Don't let her get to you Brook" I clenched my jaw and fists and all I wanted to do was pound her face in.
She looks at me and grabs me, using me to hold her up "But you wanna know something..*hiccup* that I've never told anyone. Not even Jamal here?..." she points to him again and I try to keep her far away as her breath smelt strongly of alcohol
"What?" I asked as she looked at me with her eyes half closed
"He called your name out. not mine....he loves you Brooklyn *hiccup* and I'm sorry I came in between you too" I didn't know what to say.
