"Rey? Rey, can you hear me? You're out of danger, Rey. You're safe." A soft male voice was whispering to her.

Rey was awake, but she had her eyes shut, not wanting to open them. She didn't want to face reality right now. Why did she leave him behind? It was all Poe's fault: he took her away from him. She could have stayed with Ben, she could have helped him come back. Poe had interfered. He hadn't followed the plan. Disappointment, anger, a little bit of hate filled her heart. She clenched her jaws and gritted her teeth. She had to tell Poe what she was thinking, and tell him he was useless, had acted stupidly, could have goten himself killed because of her, and that he should have left her behind. She opened her eyes, and frowned.

"Poe," she called.

The young man jumped at his name, and rushed to her side.

"Are you all right? Is there anything I can do for you?"

Rey felt warmth in her heart: Poe was so sweet with her. But she chased it away. She was angry at him.

"Yes." She answered coldly. "First of all, I am so angry with you!"

Poe's eyes widened.

"Yes, I am. You're so stupid!! You could have goten yourself killed trying to save me!

"Rey--

"Don't interrupt me. I never asked you to actually save me. And I didn't need you to save me, I didn't need to be saved actually!

"Rey, you were in Kylo Ren's arms! You were held by the enemy, the most dangerous guy in the Galaxy!!

"No, I wasn't! He's not dangerous, and he's not the enemy. General Hux is--

"Yes, and he nearly killed you!

"You could have been killed too! You exposed yourself to his shots!

"I did this to save you! If I wouldn't have interfered, you would have died, and so would have Kylo Ren!

"Don't call him that," Rey pouted, lowering her voice as she had to admit to herself that he had a point.

They had been yelling at each other, and Rey just realised how useless it actually was. She ducked her head, and just started playing with her fingers, twisting them. Poe looked at her and rested his hand on hers, making Rey jump at his touch. Their eyes locked, and they stayed like that for a moment. Rey was sinking into the moment, feeling safe and sweetly happy. Poe was leaning in.

"Rey!!" A low and profound voice shouted.

She jumped and bolted up. Poe stepped back, surprised and embarrassed as he realised what he was about to do.

"Ben!" She called out.

Poe frowned. Why did she call him? She turned her face to the young man.

"Ben called me..." she whispered. "I don't know how, I don't know where he was, but he called me. I heard him.

"You 'heard' him?

"Yes, he said my name, I heard him..." she said, her cheeks on fire.

She stood up, and started to walk away, but Poe grabbed her by the arm.

"You know you can't go, right?

"Why not?" She frowned, turning towards him.

"Because we're close to our new base. He mustn't know where we are, or he will put us in danger.

"I have to see him.

"You're so stubborn..." Poe sighed. "Rey, we're arriving, now. Anyway, General Leia is asking for you.
