After studying a little, Pinky had learned to make the portals, but she should've learned how to choose the location first. She had already made one and jumped through and it closed shut behind her. She tried pressing the button again, but a light shone red on it. She guessed it was on cool down or something like that. She looked around at her dark and eerie surroundings. The light came from the lava below, and the dimension had an obviously seen weird state of gravity. Pinky was standing on a flat stone rock that floated above the lava. There were many more floating around, but they were only about 3×3ft. It looks like the ground was unevenly cut and ripped out and were put suspended in the air. It was completely silent for only a few moment until the rocks started shaking. She was sure that she heard a rock fall into the lava a while away from her. Then she saw it. A hand. A giant, red, clawed hand grab a rock at a turn of the cave behind her. It pulled itself around the corner and Pinky saw it's huge, green oval eyes. It was a huge, red chinese dragon and it came at her pretty fast. It used the small rocks to pull itself to her. Hiding her fear, Pinky ran to the edge of the rock she was on and jumped to another. To glide down on her jump she swung her tail similar to a helicopters propellers. She could float and even fly if she wanted to, but it gets pretty tiring and takes a lot of work. She landed on the rock and it slowly tilted forward and she jumped to the next. She checked back at the Demicutter and it was still glowing red. She tried pressing the button again but it still didn't work. She twirled her body left and landed on another rock. The chinese dragon had more speed than her so she decided to push off the rock harder, making them crash back into the dragon. It didn't do much until one of the rocks hit the dragons eye. It roared and it's eyes looked down at Pinky. It seemed to have just realized Pinky was even there. It sped up and it made Pinky's heart beat faster. She was reaching a dead end.
"Come on!" She screamed over the sound of rocks being crushed against each other and the dragon.
She was staring at the Demicutter now and the dragon was closing in. It opened it's huge mouth full of sharp teeth and Pinky was halfway inside it until she jumped to another rock. She jumped just in time, the dragon bit down and cut the rock into tiny pieces floating away. Pinky looked in fear and realized the Demicutter had turned green. She pressed the button and the portal appeared a few feet in front of her on another rock. She jumped with a spin to face the dragon. It was getting close and it's mouth was once again open. Pinky was just out of it's reach as she went through the portal back first. She turned to face the other side of the tunnel getting bigger as the other side with the dragon was getting smaller. She saw a blurry green with a blurry yellow on top and she covered herself with her arms to prepare for an impact. She went through at a top speed and bumped into the yellow figure. The impact caused her to accidentally press the portal button again. She pushed the yellow figure and herself through the newly made portal. Pinky got up and looked around.
"Did I die?" The yellow figure asked while laying on the ground.
Pinky could tell he wasn't hurt, but just didn't feel like getting up. The Demicutter turned from green to changing between black and red. Pinky wasn't sure what black meant, but she did know she had to wait for it to charge again.
The yellow figure with the black shades sat up and stared at Pinky. Pinky didn't really notice as she was looking around at her surroundings.
"Who are you?" Dill asked.
"Oh," she said, noticing Dill, "Hi, I'm... Pinky..."
She wasn't used to talking to other actual living things. Mostly because she never actually met another talking living thing.
"Oh, so as like a nickname," Dill said standing up, "Can I call you Kiki?"
"Kiki?" Said Pinky confused.
"Yeah, it's way shorter and easier to say."
Dill looked around and froze at the first thing he saw. They were in front of a giant tower and standing on a bunch of purple rocks.
"Wha? Where are we?" He asked.
"Not sure," Kiki responded, "Another dimension I guess."
She walked up to the double doors in front of the building and put her hand against it.
"What are you doing? We don't know what's in there." Dill said.
"Scared much?" Kiki laughed.
"What? Nooo, of course I'm not scared!" Dill said defensively.
"Then come on, I gotta get you home."
Kiki opened the door and walked through and Dill followed.
"What if I don't wanna-" Dill's mouth dropped when he walked in to see Kiki jump in the air and sidekick a robots face in.
The robot still stood until Kiki spun in the air delivering another kick that send the robot stumbling back. It was about to get back up until Kiki jumped towards it and came down at it's face with a downward kick. The kick sent the robots head back and hit against the metal floor. Kiki used her kick as a jump and did a backflip landing back to where she first jumped from. The robots contact from it's head and the ground caused it a dent and a spark of electricity. The robot lay still with it's red and yellow little kid hat and bearlike, metal ears. Kiki smiled and turned to the wide mouthed Dill about to say something, until the double doors on the right side of the room opened. An old robot lady came through them and silently walked behind a metal desk in the back left of the room. It totally ignored Kiki and Dill and looked down at a stack of papers. It's eyes had turned white with a black line swirling around.
"Loading responses.... Combat mode.... Connecting alarms..." It was saying in a robotic voice.
Kiki and Dill stared awkwardly.
Then it looked up and spoke to them, "Loading complete... Intruders found."
"Intruders? Who?" Dill asked, looking around.
"We're the intruders." Said Kiki, with a facepalm.
"Oooh..." Said Dill.
"Alarm sent... Permission to test new combat mode..." The robot waited.
"Come on," said KiKi grabbing Dill's arm, "We have to go!"
"Granted." The robot finished.
A red, quick and skinny laser shot from it's left eye and Kiki had to lift her foot to avoid it.
"Advanced laser mode set... Speaking commands out loud, turned off." The robot said. Kiki ran into Dill to push him to safety as a laser came at him.
"Dill, come on we gotta-" Kiki was about to say until a metal wall rose above the ground in front of all the doors in the room.
"Go..." Kiki trailed off.
The robot lady stared at them with her eyes glowing red. Static came through the robot and a voice spoke through.
"You two thought you can break into MY Marescape tower huh? Well I guess your wrong, haha. But no worries, I won't kill you, yet.... Hey! You! How do you activate stun mode on the receptionist?"
Kiki was wondering why she had a hard time breathing until she realized Dill clinging to her tightly.
"Pfft, not scared all right." She mumbled.
