There was a Tikkian, looked exactly like Kiki except his eyes were more square and his fur blue. His ears were squared off and his arms and legs were pink. He had green eyes and a blue and white horizontal striped tail. He had only a single white stripe coming from his tail to between his ears and stopped as an arrow pointing at his eyes. His lip color was tan and in his hand he had a device. It was the Demicutter. He was with someone else. He was similar but white fur and rectangular glasses. He was holding a notebook in one hand and a pen in the other.
"I'm telling you it works. I'm not doing anymore tests until I work on it more." Said the blue Tikkian.
"Mr. Cloud, I'm not waiting any longer for this experiment of yours. You show me now, or we will take it from your hands and you will no longer be funded for this project."
"You can't," Said Dr. Cloud, "It'd be too dangerous, you have no right."
"Oh, why we have every right. Our economy is dying, and if we don't act now, it will die completely. We're completely justifiable."
"It's not ready, give me some time. It'd be catastrophic to use it now." Dr. Cloud argued.
"Our patience can only be limited to so much." Said the Tikkian as he reached for the Demicutter.
"No, hey!" Said Dr. Cloud.
He turned and did a 360 sidekick that hit the Tikkian away from him. More Tikkians came onto the screen and Dr.Cloud tried his hardest to keep them from taking the Demicutter. However, one of them caught him off guard.
"Agh!" Groaned Cloud as a Tikkian kicked his side and made him drop his Demicutter. The white Tikkian with a green bruise on his eye had gotten up and taken the Demicutter from the ground.
"Good doing business." Said the Tikkian as he walked away snickering.
"Please... Don't, you don't know what will happen!" Dr. Cloud tried to say.
"I'm pretty sure I have a good picture."
"This is being monitored, what will the public think?!"
"They won't know, we have the right to privacy, Mr. Cloud."
He hovered his finger over a button.
"You won't know what will come through."
"Do you know what'll come through? Maybe you can inform us, hm?"
He pressed down the button and a portal of green and purple started to form. The streaks circling around changed black and darkness floated around the dimensional rip.
"No," Said Dr. Cloud, "SHUT IT DOWN! The darkness! That's not supposed to happen!"
"Shut him up!" Said the white Tikkian.
He turned back to the portal as a ball of darkness came out and hit him square in the face. His face was left with black marks as he was launched to the other side of the room. The Tikkians holding Dr. Cloud had dropped him and ran. The alarms sounded and Dr. Cloud wasn't running with the others. Instead he ran towards the Demicutter. He rolled and grabbed it and got back up. He pointed it at the portal and pressed a button. Nothing happened.
"No..." Said Dr. Cloud, "Pure evil..."
A dark head peeked out from the portal and the rest of it's human shaped body floated in. It looked around until setting it's eyes on Cloud. Cloud froze and the shadowman launched a ball of darkness from it's hand. Cloud jumped to the side to dodge it. He landed and rolled behind a table. The Shadowman threw another flame of darkness and it broke the table into two. Cloud ran, knowing it'd obviously catch him, but he had no other options. The shadowman formed another ball of darkness in it's hand and Dr. Cloud braced himself. Gunfire echoed and a Tikkian stormed in holding a huge blue and red blaster. He had a mask that covered his whole face/body, leaving only it's ears sticking up out of it. The Tikkian shot at the shadowman and it's body dispersed in a cloud of shadow that faded away. Dr. Cloud sighed in relief.
"Cloud? I just saved the Dr. Cloud?! Scientist, adventurer and soldier! I'm uh.. kinda a huge fan." Was saying the soldier as another shadowman came through the portal. Noone had seen it enter and it threw a ball of darkness at the soldier. The soldiers mask flew off and he was shot into a wall. Dr. Cloud stood in shock for a few seconds until realizing the shadowman's attention was turned to him. He jumped and rolled through the door as the shadowman missed another shot aimed toward him. Dr. Cloud left the video screen as soldiers poured in. They shot down the shadowman but four more came out. One of them had shadow radiating from him, Lord Mare. Mare was in front of his other three shadowmen and launched a whip of shadow at the soldiers, taking out each one.
"Get me Dr. Cloud. Get me his dimension thing, and destroy this planet. Dr. Cloud is all we need."
Mare looked into the camera and the video went dark, blurry, then stopped.
"Woah," Said Dill, "If I were going after anybody, I'd choose that scientist. He seems like a huge jerk."
Kiki stayed quiet and put in the second disc. She pressed and held down rewind for a long while until the screen displayed '14years ago- ShipCam'.
"This is the security camera on the back of the ship." Kiki explained.
It showed a tan and red covered planet with a white mist. The white mist and red in the planet slowly turned black and a huge black portal formed next to it. The planet was sucked through and the portal closed, taking off parts of the planet. The debris flew from the closed portal that almost hit Kiki's ship, however, hit others floating away. The other shops around her we're destroyed and Kiki's was luckily the only surviving ship.
"Oh," said Dill as a tearing Kiki ejected the disc from the slot, "I'm sorry, Kiki. That must have been hard... To be through and watch."
Kip stayed silent looking down.
"It's okay," said Kiki wiping her tears, "Will you help me?"
"Help you?" Asked Dill.
"Yeah," Kiki responded, "Mare has done things that changed me and Kip's lives, but not yours. Will you help us?"
Kip looked up and finally spoke. "I wouldn't say he didn't affect Dill's life just yet."
"What do you mean?" Dill questioned.
"Mare, he's at Duckvill. We have to stop whatever he's doing there."
"Duckvill?" Asked Kiki, "Why there?"
Kip got up and went to the DemiMap app and pressed on Duckvill. He pressed 'GO TOO' and clicked on the Dickvill map. Kip was right. A black dot started fading in.
"Know anything, Dill?" Asked Kip as he scrolled around the map.
"Umm..." Dill said, "I do know Mare's probably gonna be disappointed when he finds nothin but boredom there."
"This part of the map, it's covered by a blue square. What is it?" Asked Kip.
"The street... Uhhh. Oh yea, that's the antique store. Probably blanked out because of it's boringness." Dill responded.
"Okay then, we still have to check it out. Especially if it may save a planet as a result." Said Kip.
