"Hey I'm just... Cold... Still not scared." Said Dill in a shaky voice.
"Sure you are." Said Kiki as she pushed Dill off of her and ran towards the robot.  Both of the robots eyes split apart and a dart shot from one.  Kiki knew she couldn't make it.  The dart was too fast and Kiki didn't have a move that she could complete that was faster than the dart.  She felt something on her foot and suddenly the ground got closer.  Dill watched as a black shadow came through from a crack above one of the walls and come down to the floor as Kiki ran towards the robot.  He thought it was nothing until it went to Kiki and pulled her into the ground.  The shadow went after him next, followed by another dart from the robot.  Dill flinched, putting his hands to his eyes, and when he opened them, they were outside of the building.
"What?" Dill said, confused.
He saw the shadow that took him was on the ground next to him.
He stepped back from it and Kiki got spat out of it and was toppled onto Dill.  Dill and Kiki both fell back on they're butts.  They watched as the shadow came out of the ground and was taking a 4D shape.
"Ouch," said the shadow, breathing heavily, "That took a lot out of me.  Oh, I'm Kip by the way."
Kiki got up and looked at where they just exited.
"Woah," said a surprised Dill, "How'd you do that?  Blend into the wall?!"
"I don't trust him." Decided Kiki aloud.
"Why not?  And I'll explain later." Said Kip.
"Because... He's a shadow.  He might be Mare, trying to trick us.  He's a shadowman!  One of the people that destroyed my home." Reasoned Kiki.  She jumped towards him with a kick and he disappeared, then reappeared next to where she landed and stopped her from falling.
"I'm not one of them... I think," Said Kip, "Here, look at this."
He took a file from out of his shadowy body and handed it to Kiki.  She opened it and looked at what it said.  Dill was looking over her shoulder.
"You... Were an experiment.  Mare was trying to make you into a weapon, if I understand this correctly.  How'd you escape?"
Kip made his hand almost invisible and made it solid shadow again.
"Went through my restraints." He answered.
"Hm.  A lot of... Torture.  52 of your kind was experimented on, and 48 died?  Wow... I'm sorry."
"It's cool.. I guess.  But yea, we're on the same side."
Kiki handed his file back and Kip phased it into his body.
"Why have pockets when you can do that?" Dill asked.
"Is it sad that since I've met him, which was a minute ago, that was the second, most dumb thing he's said?" Said Kiki.
"What was the first?" Kip asked.
"I bet it was when I asked where we are." Said Dill.
"It was when you asked who the intruders were a while ago." Kiki stated as she took out the Demicutter.  It was flashing green and black.
"I guess it's ready.  Let's go."
"Go where?" Asked Kip.
"Stop Mare!  After I go home and study more of this thing while you guys can rest of course."
"Okay then that's cool." Agreed Kip.
Dill was happy he was away from home, although he wasn't happy about it risking his life.  But he decided not to bring up the idea of Kiki bringing him back.  He felt safe by her side anyways.  Kiki pressed a button and a portal opened and she had Kip and Dill go in first, then her.
"Woah," Said Dill, "You live in a ducking spaceship?"
"Well, ye-"
"Voice recognition identified, Piller is present." Echoed a robotic voice in the ship.
"Hey, that's my last name!" Said Dill.
"Wait wha- Dill watch out!" Yelled Kiki.
Dill saw the purple object flying towards his knees so he jumped up.  It flew and stopped right under him and Dill landed on it and realized what it was.
"Oh my.... I HAVE MY OWN HOVERBOARD!" Said Dill.
"Heh," Kiki laughed to herself, "Dill Pill."
Dill rode around on his purple hoverboard with an excited expression on his face.  Kiki noticed and her eyes opened wide.
"Dill get off of that thing, I know you've never rode one of those!" Urged Kiki.
"Then I'll learn as a go, I feel like a pro already!" Answered Dill.
"Ugh." Kiki sighed.
Kip walked to the computer and turned it on while KiKi and Dill were talking.  He looked at all the apps and clicked on the SpecIDentifier.  It took him a few tries but he finally did it.  And the results came in.  Kiki and Dill had stopped and walked over to Kip.  They saw on the screen, it said extinct.
"Holy flip, your extinct?" Asked Dill.
"Appearently." Said Kip.
He looked down and walked away.  Dill watched as Kiki exited from that program and chose another.
"A map?" Dill asked.
"Yeah, a map to Mare." Answered Kiki.
"He should be in his tower still right?" Dill asked.
"Umm." Said Kiki.
"What?"
"Not anymore..." She trailed off.
"Then where is he now?"
"I may know," Kip cut in, "looking for some artifacts.  While he went to go get his cookies I saw a book on his desk... Four missing items.  He was talking to a person, confirming something.  Then this paper I found," he pulled out the ripped piece of paper from his body, "It's a part of a map.  He, or someone else, wrote on the back, 'One of four G-'.  The rest is cut off."
"So... What does it mean?" Asked Dill.
"It means..."
"He's trying to find three pieces to fit inside of some book!" Kiki blurted out.
"And why do we have to find him?  Besides him turning Kip into some awesome superhero thing." Asked Dill.
"He... Destroyed my world." Said Kiki.
"Like... Destroyed?  Blew up?"
Kiki walked to her bed and zipped the mattress open.  She reached in and took out a CD.  Then she walked out of the room.
"What's she doing?" Dill asked.
Kip just shrugged and continued looking down in silence.
"Oh, okay."
Dill stood awkwardly in silence for a few minutes until Kiki walked back in, her eyes watering a little.
"Ummm, you okay?" Dill asked.
She ignored him and walked to the video player.  She put in the CD she got from inside the mattress first.  Then they watched as it played on the screen.
