To think someday I'd be in a plane made of scrap metal surrounded by thousands, if not, millions of killer clown nightmares? I definitely saw this coming. The clowns charged at us and immediately I leaped into action. Like... I literally leaped. I jumped and turned myself so my feet hit the ceiling and jumped at the nearest clown. He didn't even have time to notice the attack coming, but it seems with each nightmare I defeat, the more powerful and quick I get. My body was surrounded by shadow, all swirling around me. I sliced through it with my sword and landed and leaped through the next one. I eventually sliced through them all except two, and the shadow swirling around me expanded and flowed more violently. I was on the ground going for the next enemy, but I was too in the moment to notice a wood bat coming my way. It hit my stomach and I felt weak. My sword disappeared and the shadows swirling around me went away. I landed on my back and was unable to get up. A laser blasted at the clown, coming from Carlos's blaster, and the clown vanished to a cloud of shadow. The next clown advanced and I still couldn't get up. I was too... Tired. I saw Kiara run in and do a flying sidekick to it's head, followed by another 360 kick. After she was done she took a hold of my arm and lifted me up.
"You okay?" She asked.
"Uh.. I don't know."
"I'm going to need you."
"I kn-"
"We're," interrupted Carlos, "going to need you... We're. Just adding in the pressure, you know, motivation."
"Yes, we're. Now comeon, let's keep going."
Kiara tried to carry me a step and I nearly fell face first on the floor. She stepped back and kept me from falling. Carlos came to my other side and he helped Kiara carry my through the door. The next room was identical to the last, and empty from any other nightmares.
"So... What's happening?" Asked my cousin, Molly, who was trailing behind us.
I looked to Kiara.
"Can we tell her?" I asked.
"Don't see why not." Kiara shrugged, almost dropping me to the ground.
The ground shook and we stumbled, almost falling, once again.
"Whoops." Said Kiara.
"It's cool."
We walked halfway through the hallway and Kiara and Carlos set me down.
"We can probably handle stuff from here," said Kiara, "you should rest."
I watched them go to and open the metal door at the end of the hall. They opened it up to reveal two angry face painted clowns running out. My cousin screamed and ran the opposite way, Carlos closed his eyes and started shooting, and Kiara executed some excellent karate skills. Carlos shot one of the clowns, but kept shooting even after it was killed. Kiara uppercut the other one, right under the chin, making it drop it's huge needle. She side kicked it's ribs and jumped into a 360 wheel, which ended the clown. Wow, she really likes her 360 jump kicks. Wouldn't blame her though, those can kill. Inside of the room was a huge window in the front. Outside was a city, and the buildings below were getting closer and closer. Under the window were buttons, levers, and controls. There were two seats, it looked like two people had to fly it. I'm glad I was injured, those controls seemed extremely complicated. However, I'm not especially glad of the fact we were crashing down on a city at a very high speed. Kiara and Carlos were panicking and each of them took a seat. They were looking around for what to press. I had to help somehow. Carlos pulled a lever and it sent us down. He panicked and pulled it in the opposite direction. We went up slightly and a book fell from a compartment above them. I crawled over to it and saw it was a manual. A manual for this plane. I picked it up and opened it. I'm not really good with reading manuals... Well I wasn't sure if I was good or not, because I've never read one before. I skimmed through the book and stopped at a picture of some of the buttons.
"Uh, the third button, I think, to your left!" I screamed to them.
They quickly pressed it and the ground vibrated.
"Now... Four buttons below that!"
Carlos pressed it and if I read it right, the plane should be ready to land. Kiara just had to steer it to a safe place.
"Kiara, the lever above you, turn it."
Kiara turned the lever and the plane turned in direction. However, it tilted a little too much. I read faster to find out how to stop it, and I found it.
"Carlos, use that slidey thingy. Keep the plane steady!"
Carlos did as I said and the plane balanced out. Kiara found a landing spot while I read a little more.
"Um, flip the cap off and press that red button."
She did as I said and the plane was safely landed atop of a building. I stood up, and didn't feel so weak anymore. I walked to Kiara and Carlos and looked out the window of the plane.
"Holy, poop... I just flew a plane." Exclaimed Carlos.
"A dream plane." Said Kiara.
"Still counts." Carlos responded.
"Carlos, you know if it was me flying the plane, that's exactly what you'd say to me." I added.
"Hey, next time you want to build something you can read your own instruction manual. I'm not reading them anymore." Carlos said, crossing his arms.
They got up and Kiara ran to Molly.
"The plane landed." She said.
"It did?" Said Molly.
"Yup," said Kiara, leading Molly to the front of the plane, "see?"
The skies got lighter and Molly started fading away.
"Why is she disappearing?" I asked.
"It's no longer a nightmare, she's waking up."
"Ooh."
Molly then faded away into a swirling black portal that me, Carlos, and Kiara jumped through.
