Out of the Green

Greeny... Greeny's name was really Freddy, but only the people closer to him usually call him that.  He was a white furred creature, with a bald spot showing pinkish white skin on his belly.  He had a short body, with stubby arms and legs.  Some would call him cute with his bunny ears, but he HATES being called cute.  He can be scary.  He likes being scary.  He sits in his lush, green woods, squinting his eyes because of how sensitive they are to the sun.  That wasn't the only reason, however.  He believed the wider he made his eyes, the cuter he'd be portrayed.  He can make his eyes go real wide and cuddly if he wanted to, or really deep and menacing.  His choice.  He wore a green piece a cloth tied around his head, leaving two strands hanging down, the same way Red and Whitey had there's.  He's never seen Red nor Whitey in a real long time.  He missed them, very little.  If his extinct species hadn't been so devoid of emotion, such as any other species, then he'd miss them much more.  When his planet and dimension was alive, his species were peaceful until provoked.  They were tough, despite they're friendly appearance.  At a young age, they were taught to abandon all emotions, wants, even needs, and basically acted as monks.  They sat there all day, doing nothing.  When hungry, which isn't often, they'd hunt whatever creature was closest, no matter what strength or size... Even they're own kind.  There were no rules, there didn't have to be.  Greeny left his gem inside of a clear, perfectly running river.  The gem colored the water around it green, on and off.  Greeny sat next to this river not only to protect his green gem, but also because he thought the blinking green color that the gem gave the river was pretty, and the grass opening next to it was nice and soft.  The river was straight and surrounded by rocks on each side.  The gem was stuck between two rocks, and whenever Greeny got hungry, he ate the fish that occasionally came through the stream.  If he was hungry and bored, the animals such as deer, rabbits, snakes, wolves and sometimes even bears, are never safe.  Where Greeny sat, the opening next to the river, was the the only opening in the woods here.  Around that opening where he meditated, were all trees and spots of taller grass.  Perfect for hunting.  Greeny opened his eyes slightly enough so he can see, and stood up.  He had heard a sound.  He slowly and silently stalked toward the river backwards, keeping his eyes on where he heard the sound.  At night, he could see thinks through heat signatures which would have been really useful right now.  He slowly bent down and took the green gem from the river.  In the river, it was basically plain sight.  He took it out anytime he had any hint of a threat.  He tucked the triangular shaped gem inside the cloth tied around his head, and slowly walked towards the sound.  He went to the edge of the opening and looked into the vast land of woods.  There was movement.  Bush.  There was a movement in a bush.  Greeny eyed the bush, getting his nails ready.  Greeny's nails were like a Sharp-Wing's.  They grew upon wish to a dangerous size.  The bush rattled again and a wolf stepped out.  It snarled at him.  Meh, just a wolf.  Greeny feasted on many of they're kind before, he had no fear when it came to wolves.  He opened his mouth and made sure his sharp, many teeth were visible.  The wolf whimpered, and ran the other way.  Greeny chuckled to himself, but then felt the hair on his head stand up straight.  This feeling is usually meant as a warning for something he can't see.  It was his sixth sense.  He moved his head to the left and his body followed as he turned around.  A gray, straight furred hand with sharp nails swung down through where his head once was.  It was a Sharp-Wing.  Greeny hadn't seen or eaten off one of these nightmare's body parts off in years.  He was kinda missing it.  Greeny jumped up over the Sharp-Wing's second attempt to strike and kicked it in the face, on the side of it's non-robotic eye which sent it stumbling back.  Greeny landed back on the ground and ducked and sweeped the Sharp-Wing's legs out from under it.  It fell, and was vulnerable, but Greeny didn't want to get too violent.  Instead of ripping and biting off limbs, which he was easily capable of doing, he thought for a moment.  The Sharp-Wing was dazed and unable to get up without falling back over.  Greeny took the Sharp-Wing by the foot and dragged it to the river.  He threw it in and let the water eat up at it's skin.  Sharp-Wings have a sad lot of weaknesses.  But having a Sharp-Wing, inside of his forest especially, meant something bad.  Lord Mare was back.  He had to meet up with Red and Whitey.  He ran up along the river, until he reached a wall of stone, with fresh, green grass growing on it's surface.  It broke open into a skinny tunnel that Greeny continued running through.  The tunnel was short and Greeny reached it's opening.  It was a floating island, with a hole at the edge, where a neverending tornado spun, generating no wind at all.  Greeny, with no hesitation, jumped into the tornado and let it spin him around, such as a dead goldfish being flushed down a toilet.  It sucked him into the eye of the tornado and spit him back out.  His surroundings were all the same, except the passage in the stone wall was gone.  Replacing it was a vent with the cover already open.  Greeny jumped inside and crawled through it real fast.  He was almost like a rat.  He reached the end and jumped out of the vent.  He was in a dark colored house, covered in cobwebs and dust.  He was in a hallway with the door at the end, and he went towards it.  He opened it and ran out, to the right of the big, red tower.  Right towards the Marescape, behind the rainbow-colored disco room, building.  He went through it's double, glass doors and dove through the open vent on to the skinny, purple passage.  He ran to the cave and let himself in.  He heard talking and walked in to see Red and Whitey.  They turned to him and seemed surprised of his sudden appearance.
"Greeny?" Said Whitey, "what are you doing here?"
