The Jemaverse

The light around died out and was replaced with black.  The headache I had after opening my eyes lasted only a couple of seconds.  I got up with the bathroom door closed and locked and hearing my brothers voice from outside.
“Oh, he has… very bad diarrhea he said… And he's going to take a while.”
“Why don't I just ask if your brother himself, that doesn't seem too good.  First peeing, and diarrhea too?” Said my mom.
I got up and let the sink run for a few so my mom would think I'm washing my hands.  I turned it off and walked out of the bathroom and into the Kitchen.
“Hey hun,” My mom said, “How's school?”
“Good.” I said curtly.
I walked through the kitchen and flopped on the living room couch.
“What'd you do?” She asked.
Carlos sat on another couch close to mine.
“Eh, nothing.”
“If you do nothing, then why do I even send you to school?”
“I ask the exact same question to myself all the time.”
My mom laughed.
“I covered for you while you were unconscious.  You came late again.  Did something happen?” Carlos questioned.
“Well… Not really.  I found Kiara though.  And may have fought a bunch of robots and these big guys.”
Carlos looked stunned.
“How did you find Kiara?  Did he not send you back?”
“Oh yeah he did, I’m not entirely sure what happened.  Before coming here, I was somewhere else.  The Jemaverse.”
Lord Mare was angry.  The kid found out where his base is.  He wasn't really surprised on how, he knew the shadow that was accidentally put inside the kid temporarily brought him to whichever dimension he was in.  But he took Kiara, broke into the first floor of his base leaving a mess and has a sword that Mare wants himself.  He had already order Shadowmen to clean up the mess and search the building for Kiara and Jemeni but he knows they probably already left.  After killing many shadowmen to get over his anger he decided to forget about it and go back to finding Tom's whereabouts.
Carlos and I were ready for bed.  Well maybe only me.  Carlos thinks it's too dangerous to go back.  But I've been having a pretty good time.  I was in blue sweatpants and a white T-shirt for pajamas and finished some chores I had to do before going to bed.  After I was done, Carlos and I went upstairs in our separate rooms, and went to sleep.  For a moment nothing happened.  Then light replaced the darkness and the lab appeared in sight.  I was inside my tube and I saw Carlos in his.  I walked out and saw two people at the desk and one of them turned around.
“Hey!  Your back!” Kiara said full of happiness.
“And, who's this?” She asked.
“Oh, his brother,” said Tom, “Carlos.”
"Oh, that's cool,” Kiara said walking closer, “What's your name again?  I don't think you've told me.”
“Oh, uh… my name, it's, Jem.  Jemeni.  You can call me Jem though.  If you want.”
I'm not sure why, but I feel like the darkness of my sword was flowing through my cheeks.
“That's a name I've never heard before.” She responded.
“Hey, Jem,” Interrupted Tom, “Where did you find Kiara?”
“Oh, in the uh, Jemaverse.  We fought a bunch of robots an-”
“The same Jemaverse as in the unnamed place?  The same Jemaverse as in that map?”
“Maybe, not sure.  It had Jem all over.  Jemusement Park, Jemvill.  Jem everything!”
“Jemeni, you need to take us there.  This is really important!”
“How do I do that?” I asked.
“Well, you're obviously somehow linked to it, so.  I also made these buttons that'll wake you up when you need to.  They also have the time on them too,  So you know when you have to wake up.”
“But how do I take you guys to The Jemaverse?”
“You go alone with two of my Campoints and put them up at a good place.  Be careful though, Mare is there.  The Jemaverse might turn.”
“Turn?”
“Yes, the environment might try and kill you.”
“That sounds super bad.”
“Which is why you have to find something to stabilize it.  Something that links to your world.”
“What?”

“Like, look for something odd, that shouldn't be there.  And only set the Campoints after you stabilize The Jemaverse.”
“It seemed pretty stabilized before.”
“Stable before, yes, but I know now that Mare knows your coming, he's going to bring in a nightmare.  An irregular one with no shape.  But once the object that doesn't belong there is found, the nightmare will die down and everything affected by it will turn normal again.  So, be careful.  It'll make everything unstable so you’ll also have limited time.”
“So your sending me to my own death basically?”
“No, well, maybe, kinda, only if you don't make it.”
“I accept!”
Tom handed Kiara a button and she walked over and gave it to me.
“Press the button when your ready.” Said Tom.
“Your seriously going along with this?” Carlos said.
Tom passed me two Campoints and I pressed the button.  Everything went bright then two streaks of purple and green, then nothing but light.
