She ran to where I first entered and we saw Wanda on the ground. She had a black stain on her face and a shadowman above her. Once I saw the shadowman I made my darkened sword materialize in my hand. I wondered if it was possible but I saw that the girl couldn’t dodge the attack coming her way, she was rushing too fast. I bent my arm back and thrusted it forward and let the sword out of my grasp. It twirled in circles like a fan and sliced the shadowman, slicing him in two separate clouds of shadow. I focused even harder and tensed my hand. The sword stopped itself and found its way back into my hand.
“Woah!” I said as I followed the girl who didn’t bother stopping. “I can do that?”
We exit the cave and I started to the skinny pathway.
“Where are you going?” The girl asked, running the opposite way, “this way!”
I hesitated, then followed her lead.
“What's this way?” I asked.
“The way out.” She said.
“Well, your way out. I might disappear any second, but I’ll accompany you while I’m still here.”
“Such a gentleman.” She joked.
“Your Kiara, right?”
“You, know me?”
“I was sent to find you actually, I think.”
“You know my dad?” She said, shocked.
“Kinda, though not really on a friend to friend basis yet.”
“Haha, yeah, that’d be a challenge.”
In the distance, I saw we were closing in on a building. A big, skyscraper.
“Okay,” She said, “We only need to get past the first floor.”
“One floor, seems easy enough.”
“Get past all the bad guys, go through a vent into a secret back room, and go up the stairs, Kick some guard’s butts, and find a Campoint they store in there. And the most hardest part of this whole thing, will probably be fixing it up.”
We ran side by side and I stayed silent at that unexpectedly long and complicated plan. We were feet from the doors when a Sharp-Wing came at us. It didn’t get too far, the energy beam from Kiara’s blaster reached its face before it had a chance to reach us. We reached the front, metal double doors and barged in and skidded to a stop. The floor and walls were metal and there was a round, red carpet with a yellow design on it on the floor right at the door. There were too, brown double doors on each side of the room and a metal desk in the left corner of the room. Behind the desk was an old looking woman with a stack of papers and pen. In the left corner was a robot. It looked like its arms and legs were extendable. It had the face of a bear, with its metal ears sticking out of its red and yellow little boy cap. Its arms were extended to the ground and wrapped in circles like a garden hose as it lay deactivated on the ground. Its legs tangled a little and only one of its plastic, round, yellow eyes halfway opened.
“State your type and number please, and if your type is the Circlesaurus, please sign in out back.” Said the lady in a robotic voice.
“Umm, Sharp-Wing? Number five?” Kiara said, questioning her own words.
“Invalid,” Said the woman in her robot voice, “Sharp-Wing number five was disposed of months ago. Try again.”
Her voice seemed to get more and more scary, although it stayed the same. She started to rise and I saw the metal body rise above the desk, making her human looking body look small in comparison. The robot in the corner untangled its arms and legs and only its right eye was completely opened, while the left still remained stuck halfway. It stood up and extended its arm toward Kiara. Its arm grew longer and Kiara ducked when it reached her and she ran towards the bear bot. I focused on the robot lady, Who now stepped over her desk with her long, six spider-like robotic legs. She headed toward Kiara who didn’t see her coming. I acted fast and used all my strength to pull the carpet one of her legs were on. The robot lady slipped and fell. I saw it’d take a while for the lady to get back up, and I guess she saw it too. She opened up a compartment in her body and pulled out a blaster that was point directly at me. Kiara ran towards the robot bear and pulled out her blaster. The bear reached into a holster on it's side and pulled out it's own blaster. Kiara slid on the ground towards it, ducking under the bears shot and returning one of her own at its face. It's metal seemed really hard. The blast bend back the robots head and its neck twitched. A stain of ash was left on its face and its extended arm fell and went limp, then it's body followed. Kiara looked at me as I raised my hand and my sword formed into it. I held it up and the giant robot ladies shot got intercepted by my sword. The sword disintegrated the blast without any of my effort. I zigzaggidly ran towards the robot receptionist as she missed her horribly aimed shots. I jumped and a robot leg was lifted in my way. I flinched with the end of my sword facing it's leg. A big blast of white cut through it and I landed safely on the ground in front of the robot. I got over my surprise and diagonally sliced the robot’s body to two.
“Woah! That was awesome! Are there anymore?”
Kiara ignored my question and took off the cover to a vent in the back of the room.
“Come on, let's go.” She said.
I climbed in after her and the room we were in was dark, with faint blue lights coming off of the black, holed metal walls and floor. To our right were stairs leading to a door Kiara already started to go up. I caught up to her at the casual brown door, and she turned the handle to opened it. Right away were two, muscular huge men. They had blue, buttoned suits on with a white T-shirt under it. They had golden name tags on the top right of they're suits with a letter and two digit number, and wore dark blue pants with black dress shoes. One of them ran towards us and I froze. Kiara ran to him and slid under him and got up behind him. She kicked at the back of his knee and he knelt down as the other man ran towards her in the other direction. She turned her head, ducked under his punch and pushed at his back, the momentum from his punch also making him fall over. I decided to run in and I hopped towards the guy getting up. Shadows were surrounding my feet and I kicked out at the man's face and he fell backwards, his head hitting and going through a wooden shelf on the way down. The strength from the shadows made these guys seem way weaker than they look. The man Kiara pushed down got back up and hit the blaster Kiara was taking out and picked her up by her pink shirt collar. I ran towards them and slid toward his legs and kicked his shin. He belt down and Kiara kicked his knee cap which made him drop completely onto his knees. I had already gotten up and wheel kicked, with the back of my shadowy foot hitting the back of his head. Kiara jumped out of the way as the man fell on his face, probably just unconscious.
“Okay, we need to find the Campoint to get out of here. Do you know what it looks like?” Kiara asked.
I lifted up a camera like object, “How can I not if he always brags about what he invents.”
“Woah, how'd u find it so fast?”
“I'm usually terrible at finding things, but it was sparking and electricity and stuff… so it was pretty easy to notice.”
It sparked and I almost dropped it.
“Now for the hard part, fixing it,” Kiara said, “Let me see.”
I handed her the Campoint and she opened up the back. After she played with some wires, the camera lens lit up green, then blue, then white.
"Yes!" She exclaimed excitedly.
“Thanks person, and bye!” She waved and held the Campoint above her. It lit up brighter and brighter and Kiara faded head first to her feet. She was completely gone now, and I had to wake up. I looked around and saw a bunch of junk. There was a Sharp-Wing hand with it's nails extended, and I got a scary idea. If I was wrong, this would hurt insanely. I walked over to it and picked it up. I poked it into my arm and the room disappeared from sight. I only saw light, everywhere.
