"Mom, for the- I lost count of the times- I'm fine," I almost groaned as I sling my purse's strap on my shoulder before I turned to look at my mother's concerned face.

She sighed, nodding as she caressed my hair, "Alright, alright. Just want to make sure you're okay to go back to school"

"I'm okay," I assured as I turned to look at the mirror, even though it was a lie. Perhaps if I say it many times, it'll become true. "I'm great," I forced a smiled as I stared at myself in the mirror. It looks quite convincing.

I wasn't anywhere near okay, but it didn't stop me from pretending until I was.

I couldn't be locked up in my room anymore, it was driving me insane. All I could think about was that night. I wish I could forget it, but it was engraved on my brain and would repeat in a loop for hours.

But I remembered how Jackson went to school to keep his mind busy, so it was exactly what I was going to do.

...

I stared strangely at Jackson, he was acting strang- In fact, he and Allison were acting strangely. I mean, I know they talked and settled everything, but I didn't know they were that buddy-buddy with each other. He was being... sweet with Allison.

My eyes narrowed as I watched him cleaning Allison's mouth with his thumb before licking it. What the fuc-

I shook my head, taking a deep breath as I averted my attention back to my chicken sandwich.

"Do you think I made a mistake..." Allison started, making me look at her, "I mean, with Scott?" she asked making me sigh while swallowing the food in my mouth.

"No," I said, "Not at all."

And it was true. Maybe I shipped them in the beginning, but after that night I don't think so anymore.

"Yeah," Jackson agreed, "In fact, I think he got exactly what he deserves"

Allison sighed before nodding, going back to eating her cookies. Which I quickly snatched a piece.

(3rd POV)

"Will you talk to her?" Stiles asked as he and Scott left the boys' locker room.

"Well, I have too. We still don't know what she saw," Scott sighed.

"Yeah, well, good luck," Stiles wished as he looking ahead seeing Emily talking to a girl. Scott nodded and walked to her, "Hey, Emily - uh- Can I talk to you?"
