It's been a few days since the ice rink situation and everyone is acting strange since then. Jackson doesn't talk to me anymore, Lydia is pretending she's okay and won't tell me what's wrong, and when I questioned if Allison, Scott, and Stiles knew anything, they said a story that I could tell was a lie. I'm just feeling like everyone is avoiding me and I hate it.
Oh, yeah I still can't get a grip on Derek and now Erica, the girl who suddenly was cured of her epilepsy, thinks she owns the school just because she put on a tight shirt, a mini skirt, and high heels.
Ugh, this week couldn't get any worse.I entered Chemistry classroom and sat next to Allison, "Hey" I smiled making her look at me.
"Hi"
Mr.Harris greeted everyone before he explained the experience we were about to do, changing a few partners before he let us start.
I mixed the ingredients carelessly looking around the class, my eyes suddenly landing at Scott and Erica, who was leaning a little too close to him, "Never?" I asked Allison, "You never get jealous?"
"Why would I?" she shrugged.
"Because of that thing happening over there," I said gesturing to Erica who was now passing her hand on Scott's tight, "That requires some jealousy," I informed looking back at our work. When Mr.Harris ordered us to switch partners, Allison turned to me, "Don't talk to Isaac or Erica"
"Why not?" I asked confused.
"Just don't. Trust me alright?" I looked at her strangely before she went to her next partner. I sighed as I waited for mine watching as Allison sat next to Erica, Scott with Lydia and Stiles with Isaac. A girl smiled at me as she sat on the chair next to mine, grabbing the next ingredient for the mix.
(3rd POV)Stiles glared at Isaac who smirked back. Huffing, he continued mixing the ingredients, "If you harm one perfect chocolate brown hair on her head, I'm gonna turn your little werewolf ass into a fur coat and give it to her as a birthday present," his threat made Isaac chuckle.
"Really?" he asked amused, "I've never actually been to one of her big, invite-only birthday parties, neither in Lydia's. I did ask her out once, though."
"Sounds like the beginning of a heartfelt story. I'm gonna pass, thanks," Stiles said sarcastically.
"It was the first day of freshman year- ", Isaac started but Stiles cut him off.
"And you thought everything was gonna be different for you in high school, but she said no," he guessed in a pissed off tone.
Isaac nodded, "Yeah. Yeah, she even pitied me. Told me to find someone available. Lydia told me to come back when I got a vehicle worth her time."
"Mm, unrequited love's a bitch. Maybe you should write about it in English class, you know? Channel all that negative energy," another ironic commentary came from Stiles's mouth.
"Nah, I was thinking I'd channel it into killing her, or Lydia, or both. I'm not very good at writing," Isaac said making Stiles look at him astonished.
"And switch," the teacher ordered before he could reply.
Stiles ended up with Scott while Allison sat with Lydia and Emily with Isaac. The brunette looked over her shoulder, remembering what Allison said about not talking to him but turned back again, already feeling slightly uncomfortable with Isaac's proximity to her. Pursuing her lips, she tried not to let it faze her as she continued the work.
They worked in silence, well, Emily worked and was in silence. Isaac was a different story. He did nothing to help while trying to flirt with her.
Emily sighed in relief when Mr.Harris said the final switch, making Isaac go away while Lydia sat beside her. They smiled at each other before going to the mix, finishing it not long after.
"Time," the teacher said, "If you've catalyzed the reaction correctly, you should now be looking at a crystal. Now for the part of that last experiment, I'm sure you'll all enjoy - You can eat it."
Emily and Lydia smiled at each other before Emily picked one crystal from their mix, giving it to Lydia. The girl smiled as she opened her mouth, curious as to what it would taste like.
"Wait!" Scott shouted making everyone, including Emily and Lydia, look at him.
"What?" Lydia asked while Emily looked curiously at him.
Scott looked around now feeling slightly embarrassed. His eyes settled on a smug-looking Isaac before looking down, "Nothing," he muttered, sitting down.
Lydia shrugged and bit the crystal while Emily looked at her expectantly. Lydia shrugged once again not thinking too much of the taste, before giving it to Emily, who took a small bite out of it, scrunching her face in disgust right after with the awful taste that invaded her mouth.
