Today is the first day back at school. Not really excited about it.
I'll have to face everyone again and I just... Meh. I'd prefer going back to the woods and find out what's happening.
After the deer incident, Stiles came here the next day and we hung out like we did before. Then Lydia and I talked through the phone and apparently, she was busy having fun with different boys and now is set on finding Allison a new eye candy.
Speaking about Allison, we haven't talked for a while- mostly my fault since I excluded myself from social life. Oh well, we're seeing each other again at school at least.
Is it funny that I'm actually kinda nervous to be back at school? I mean, after all, crazy stuff that happened and how things were left between all of us, it's just going to be a little awkward. And then Stiles.
Ugh, Stiles. Why does this kid have to be there? Why does he have to be so awkward and silly? Why does he confuse me like no boy ever did?
What the heck am I doing? He is helping me with my problems without asking anything else in return and here I am, thinking about him like this.
I really have to put myself together.x.X.x
And here we are Beacon Hills High School. Another year, another... Something.
Let's just get over with it.I stopped in front of my locker. There were a lot of new students, well, freshmen. I just can imagine what Lydia is thinking looking at all of them. I literally can imagine what her comments will be. Chuckling to myself, I opened my locker.
"Hey Em," my movements froze at the voice. It couldn't be...
I turned slowly, my eyes staring right into his. My lips parted but no sound came out, and I'm sure the reaction made him happy since a smirk crept across his lips.
(Stiles's POV)
"C'mon man, help me. This year is my chance. I feel it. I can finally have a chance with her," I said as Scott and I walked into the school.
"Just be yourself, man," he chuckled making me almost roll my eyes.
"Just be me isn't enough"
"Well, it should be. C'mon Stiles, you both already have something, it'll probably turn into something more sooner or later"
"Well, I prefer sooner, thank you very m- Hey, who is that?" I asked looking into Emily's direction. She was talking to someone, a boy and he was familiar.
"Is this... " Scott started but I cut him off, not believing what I was seeing. Not him, please.
"Cody," I mumbled and watched as his head turned slightly in our direction. "Did you see that?!"
"I-I did. M-Maybe it was coincidence...?" Scott tried, but I shook my head."Oh, no. Don't believe that "
We both watched as they chatted, "What are they saying?" I asked curiously.
"Uhm, he's talking about missing her," Scott mumbled making me clutch my hands on my backpack's straps. Good, and here I was thinking that I had a chance.
I saw Emily's mouth moving before she walked away. "What did she said?"
"She said she was late for class and walked away," Scott replied and I nodded still looking at Cody. "C'mon man, let's go to class"(Emily's POV)
I. Can't. Freaking. Believe. What the hell is he doing here? Ugh, so much for a good day.
