"You really don't remember anything?" Allison asked Lydia as we walked through the parking lot.
"They called it a fugue state, which is basically a way of saying 'We have no idea why you can't remember running through the woods naked for two days.' But personally, I don't care. I lost nine pounds," Lydia smiled putting her hands on her hips making me smile at her.
I knew what she was trying to do. Pretend everything is fine and that she doesn't care about what happened or what anyone is going to say about when in reality she actually cared. Pursuing my lips I turned to her once we stopped at the door, "Lyds, are you ready for this?"
Lydia stopped for a moment, then she turned to look at us, "Please. It's not like my aunt's a serial killer," she said before entering the school building.
Damn.
I glanced at Allison, seeing her gobsmacked look, "Don't mind her," I said before following Lydia inside the school.
.
Awkward. It was the best definition I could think of when we stepped inside. Everyone had stopped to stare at us- well, I guess mostly at Lydia who was yet to make an appearance at school. Allison and I were already old news with her aunt being dead and my grandma in a coma, all in one night.
I bit my lip softly, turning my head to look at Lydia's frighted posture."Maybe it's the nine pounds," Allison whispered trying to make Lydia feel better. And it worked because a second later she shrugged whatever bad thoughts she was having, pushing her hair behind her shoulder before she walked confidently through the hallway.
"It's going to be a long day" I breathed loudly, extending the word 'long'.
Allison nodded, "Tell me about it."
...
(3rd POV)
"I'm telling you, I could smell the werewolf scent from Isaac, but none from Emily," Scott repeated as he and Stiles walked to the principal's office.
"Well, maybe it's different for girls. M-maybe is her perfume. What smell did you feel?"
"Uh, I don't know, it was something flowery," Scott said trying to remember the smell correctly.
"It's her perfume, she smells like sunflowers and vanilla," Stiles explained making his friend look at him strangely, "So, maybe, werewolf girls smell different," he said now noticing the stare,
"What?"
"How do you know how she smells like?"
The question got Stiles by surprise, making him speechless, "Uh, well, y-" he licked his lips, shaking his head, "I've had a crush on her since forever, I know how she smells," the high pitch tone made Scott chuckle amused, "Shut up, back to what matters."
"Sorry," Scott laughed, "But yeah, maybe you're right," Scott replied unsure "Either way, Allison will make her stay home tonight"
"W-what about her parents?" Stiles asked.
"They'll be at the hospital, I asked my mom"
...
(Emily's POV)
"Okay, so you're staying home tonight right?" Allison asked for the hundredth time, making me roll my eyes.
"Jeez Allison, yes I'll. I'm going to the hospital to see my grandma then I'm going home. I have homework to catch up," I repeated.
She nodded with a sigh. "Okay, uh, I have to go now before I'm late to class. See you later"
"Alright," I watched her walk away before doing the same, trying to ignore the weird sensation creeping inside of me.
