Mysterious Adventure Part 1

Chapter 40: The Cliff

I was out on a walk minding my own business when I heard a stick snap in half I stopped then looked in the direction heard the sound come from. As I was looking in the direction I heard the stick snap I saw a figure standing there, I waited to see what the figure would do and I see the figure holding something in their hands it was a knife. The figure started to run over to me and by that point, I knew it was Nick so I started running in the opposite direction that he was running in. I saw that there was an opening and stopped to see that it was a cliff, I climbed up one of the trees around me so Nick doesn't see me. As I was standing in the tree I saw Nick come into my view, that was when I felt pain all over my body I covered my mouth so that I wouldn't make any noise. Once I did that Nick saw the tree move and he was looking at the tree I was standing in and walked over to the tree, I did my best not to move Nick said "found you" 'shit he found me' I jump down from the tree I was standing in Nick said, "you're not very good at hiding from me my dear". Nick started to lunge at me with the knife in his hand I jumped away from him since I didn't have my knife's with me I couldn't get back at him I started to feel a little bit more of the pain in my head. I see Nick pull something out of his back pocket it was a syringe with a liquid inside of it Nick charged at me with the syringe in his hand I go to try to jump out of the way again but my foot got caught on something and I fell to the ground on my back. Nick gets on top of me and jabs the syringe in the side of my stomach and started to inject the liquid into my body I scream in pain as I felt the needle in my body. I hear someone call my name but I couldn't answer since I was in so much pain, the next thing was I see someone pull Nick off of me and took the syringe out of my body. I sat up holding my side and then I tried to stand up since I didn't know what the liquid was going to my body I had to be careful, I lean on a tree trying to catch my balance. Nick just smirks at me as he sees me struggle, I look around for the person that was calling my name but I couldn't see them as I go to take a step forward I felt something come up my throat it was blood. I was trying to hold it in but I couldn't and threw up the blood on the ground that's when I saw Eyeless Jack and Jeff run over to me, Jeff ran after Nick trying to kill him Eyeless Jack stayed over by me and rubbed my back. Eyeless Jack looks at the ground and saw the syringe that was sitting right next to where I was laying down, Eyeless Jack said: "Jeff we have to get her back to the mansion immediately". 

Jeff managed to stab Nick in the shoulder with his knife and pulled the knife out and threw him over the cliff Jeff said "why", Eyeless Jack ignored Jeff and picked me up and ran to the mansion with me in his arms and Jeff following behind still confused. Eyeless Jack opens the mansion doors and walks up to his room and told Jeff to go get some things that he needs, and Jeff went out with the list of things Eyeless Jack needed. I knew I was in Eyeless Jack's bed since his side had a soft blanket on it, Eyeless Jack took off my shirt so he could feel where the syringe went in my body. I felt the blood come up my throat again and gripped the sheets when Eyeless Jack found the spot the syringe went in, I roll over to the side of Eyeless Jack's bed and threw up the blood on the floor. The pain in my side got more painful and a little bit unbearable I here footstep come up the stairs and towards Eyeless Jack's room, Jeff came back with the supplies that Eyeless Jack had asked for. Eyeless Jack told Jeff to leave the room and Jeff nodded his head and left the room, Eyeless Jack looked back over to me and saw that the pain was becoming unbearable to handle so Eyeless Jack grabbed his scalpel and brought it over to his bed. Eyeless Jack said "this is going to hurt" I gripped the bedsheets as I felt the scalpel cut open my skin, Eyeless Jack walked over to his bedroom door closed it and locked the door to try to muffle out any sounds that I was going to make. Eyeless Jack walked back over to me and put his hand in the opening to see if he could get it out by hand, I yelled in pain as I felt Eyeless Jack's hand go in my side. Ben happened to walk by Eyeless Jack's door and heard what was happening but took it the wrong way, Eyeless Jack said "I'm almost done, it's almost out" I said "it hurts Eyeless Jack" I yelled in more pain as his hand went in deeper into my side. Eyeless Jack managed to pull it out of my side in one piece and started to stitch me back up so I wouldn't bleed out all over the place.
