Chapter 42: Finding more animal cages

I wake up and I see that I am laying down in Jeff's bed as I start to sit up I feel a split aching pain in my head, I go to place my hand on my head as I hear a soft knock on the door I turned and looked at the door I said: "come in". As the door opened I could see that it was Jeff that walked in through the door, Jeff said "hey how are you feeling" I looked up at the ceiling and say "yeah I'm feeling fine, sorry for making you worry about me all the time". Jeff walked over to me and gave me a hug the pain I felt the pain in my head get stronger but I just block it off, Jeff said: "he tried to control your mind again but you somehow blocked it off". I was confused about what Jeff was saying since the only thing that I remember was fighting him off of me I said "Jeff I need to go on a walk for a bit" I get up out of bed and I walked out the door and into the woods. As I was walking the pain in my head continued to get worse, and my vision was starting to get fuzzy I continue walking in the woods but as I kept on walking I saw cages. I hear footsteps coming from behind me I climb up the nearest tree to see of what they will do, as they got closer and closer I could see that they were arguing. For some reason, I jumped down from the tree and I started to walk over to them with my knife with my hand the two men started to lunge at me but before then I blacked out. It wasn't long before they started screaming or was I screaming but I knew that once I was done with whatever it was that I was doing I was laying on the ground, and blood was everywhere. I sit up and while doing so I no longer feel the pain in my head anymore, as I look around I see the two men lying in the ground bleeding out from what looked like deep claw marks. I stand up and look at the cages and to see that they are all empty that is when I felt a nose touch my hand, I go to look down and I see the wolf I said: "hi Marissa what brings you here", I could see on her face that she was blushing."Does she have feelings for me or is she not feeling well" I go to place my hand on her head to see if she was running a fever and she wasn't and I could confirm that she has feelings for me. I walk back to the mansion with Marissa and I walked up with her to my room, and I sat down on the bed as she sat down next to me but then laid her head on my lap. 

I felt my face turn red a little bit and I started to pet her Jeff walked in and saw what was going on and thought of what was going to happen, Jeff said "do you want me to give you some alone time" I said "for the night please Jeff" Jeff smiled and nodded his head and closed the door behind him and put a do not disturb sign on the handle.
