Mysterious Adventure Part 1

Chapter 47: Fever

I woke up the next morning seeing that I was in Jeff's arms I got out of bed and got dressed, I walked down to the living room but then for some reason, I passed out I heard someone call out to me but I didn't know who it was. I woke up and I was on the couch and I go to look around seeing that I was in the living room, I place my hand on my head and I feel that I'm burning up and I didn't know why. I hear someone walk out of the kitchen and I go to look over at them and it's Eyeless Jack, and I see a bowl in his hand Eyeless Jack said "hey glad to see that you are awake". Eyeless Jack handed me the bowl that was filled with soup and I ate the soup once I was done Eyeless Jack placed his hand on my forehead Eyeless Jack said "your running a fever and you should rest". I didn't want to but I could tell that he wanted me to get better so I fell back asleep on the couch I kept on thinking that it might be the poison that is in my body but I haven't felt it try to come up my throat. As the day went on I woke up from my nap from someone poking me and I look to see who it is and I see that it's Ben I said "need something?" Ben said "checking to see if you were alive is all". I said "well I'm alive" Ben went to go touch my arm but stopped as he felt the heat coming from my body then Ben walked into the kitchen I'm assuming to get something to eat. I tried to fall back asleep but I couldn't I got up and I walked outside to get some fresh air and I felt another touch from someone I turn around and I see that it's Jeff as he stands next to me. Jeff said "how are you feeling?" I said "still a little over heating but I think I can manage" I honestly didn't know what to say I walked back inside and went upstairs and went to bed. In the middle of the night I woke up feeling like my body was being set on fire so I got up out of bed and I walked back outside again but I went on a small walk this time to see if the cold air would help. It felt nice I will say that and I just wanted to keep on walking but I knew that Jeff and Eyeless Jack would be worried, to see that I'm not in bed resting and trying to get better. So I walked back to the mansion and as I was walking back I heard something and I couldn't tell of what it was and I decided to follow the noise to see of where it was coming from. My vision started to get a little bit blurry but I still could see just fine I kept on following the noise that I was hearing and I found two people in the woods trying to get to the mansion. I decided that I was going to deal with them so that way they aren't a pain in the ass tomorrow in the morning even though it's probably the next day I didn't really care I went around them making sure that they didn't see me. Then I attacked them from behind and I felt my body transform into something but I don't know what once I was done with the two people that tried to sneak in I saw that I was covered in blood. I walked back to the mansion to go clean up and then go back to bed to try to fall asleep again not knowing of what just happened and if I can even control what ever it is that I was doing.
