 ***Lexxi's POV***

"LEXXI!!!" Zayn called out my name as I ran through the street. I wanted to run as far away as possible from Luke. The streetlights shone and the bright lights hurt my eyes. I stumbled but Zayn caught me and pulled me close."He won't hurt you anymore Lexxi. It's all ok." Zayn held me as my years started to fall."Bex told us what Luke did to you. I can't believe that one person could hurt you so much. I'm not like him though. Never think that you have to change yourself for anyone. You're perfect Lexxi, and I hate watching you think the opposite. You're too hard on yourself and you don't see how amazing you really are. And you need someone to show you that. I know you're afraid but you shouldn't be. The last thing I want to do is break your heart. I guess what I'm saying is, can we start over? I don't wanna lose everything I know we could've had. I love you, Lexxi."WHOA. Zayn loves me? Do I love him? But I can't love when I'm afraid to fall. It's true Luke let me fall but can I trust that Zayn will catch me? Lexxi you've gotta stop playing with yourself. I can't ignore this any longer. Life's all about taking risks, and love's a risk worth taking. Zayn, I love you too." I looked up into those eyes, the eyes millions of girls have fallen in love with.One eye was slightly black thanks to Luke but he still looked perfect to me. He leaned in and gave me the kiss of a lifetime. And this time I didn't run away. I think instead I'll stay a while.The feeling of his lips on mins was amazing. It felt like we were the only two people in the world. Zayn held my face in his hands and wiped away my years."I finally found what I've been looking for." He whispered. He kissed me again and the streetlights seemed to shine a little brighter. Like spotlights on us. That kiss was really something, it took my breath away. I could feel my heart racing and even though we were outside in the freezing cold, I felt warm in his arms. I ran my fingers through his jar and he held me tighter, protecting me from Luke and the rest of the world. For once in my life I felt safe and secure.I wish I could freeze this moment and stay here forever. This is everything I've ever wanted. This is real love
