Chapter seven The Story

"Well you see assassin.........archer. What do you want me to call you?" She asked me. I just looked at her.

"Call me Archer." I sighed as I leaned back on the cage. She nodded her head. Then she took another breath. She looked at the sky quickly then her sight went right back to me.

"Well Archer you see Sir Tybalt is a powerful wealthy man, one of the wealthiest person who is not a king." Isabelle explained as she sat at the opposite end of the cage of me. I nodded my head remembering the ruby he had given me.

"Yes, my payment to kill you was a lot. He gave me a red ruby about the size of a large chunk of Charcoal." I explained to her. She nodded her head, looking back out towards the sky.

"Well a while ago I was told that he was planning to take over the kingdoms one by one. Hiring assassin's like you to kill the royal family. Then he would buy out everyone so he would rule the kingdom. Then he would use the army of that kingdom to take another one. Till finally we would rule it all." She explained as her brown eyes went back to me.

"Well other than you being a princess, why are the first to be asked to be executed?" I asked her as grabbed my mask. It still was between my belt and shirt. She let out another sigh.

"Well a short while ago I was out with a friend of mine and 2 of my guards. We were going looking to see if the Rumor about Sir Tybalt was true. We had snuck into his house, and listened to him talking to an assassin about his plans. But before we could leave he saw us. I guess he knew me." Isabelle explained. I nodded my head as the room grew quieter.

"Now it's time to go."I said as I stood up. Isabelle looked a little confused.

"You don't have any weapons." She said as she also stood up. I smiled as I walked over to the lock.

"That's where you are wrong." I said as I grabbed my two daggers that I kept on my back between my belt and shirt. They were hidden by my cape for this very situation, or something like this. I took them out then I put on of the tips of the dagger into the lock. One twist should do it.

"You're quiet a crafty Assassin." Isabelle said as she looked over at my shoulder. I laughed quietly.

"Princess most assassins are crafty." I chuckled as the lock fell from where it had been. I caught it before it could make a sound. I lightly pushed the door open; I walked out scanning the area for my weapons. I knew they had left Flames on the surface. I finally spotted them resting right on the queens thrown. I began to walk quickly over to it.

"Archer we have to leave." Isabelle said as she began to head towards the stairs. I grabbed all my weapons then I ran after her. Both of us ran up the stairs quickly not making a sound. It will not be good when they wake up and find us gone. As we got up to the top the princess stopped running just standing there not moving. I ran past her jumping onto Flames. I led Flames to Isabelle. I extended my hand to her.

"Take my hand." I yelled as suddenly a loud screaming sound came from the lair. Someone just woke up. Isabelle grabbed my hand as Flames kept running. I pulled her up while Flames was in a dead sprint. She landed perfectly right behind me. I held Flames reins as she rode faster.
